"Okay, okay... So, you traveled hundreds of light-years just to get to a place where the other diamonds won't find you? What happened- ah, if you don't mind me asking." Raf was unsure of how to treat the diamond. She had been raised in the ethereal world, where nothing like them existed.

She didn't even know about her gem half until she started school, and that was more than enough for her to learn to deal with in the moment. Thankfully she's more angel than gem, or she'd have a lot of issues.

Anyway, by her understanding, Purple Diamond was on the run after being falsely accused of starting a rebellion against her sisters. The reason they accused her was because of her refusal to colonize planets that already had life on them.

Purple Diamond did her best to explain while exploring the Angel's room and asking questions of her own. She had a million and a half things she wanted to ask, and sometimes, Raf couldn't answer.

"How do all the buildings fit in such a small area, nothing is floating... What is a human? What are angels? What are devils? How do you learn all those names?"

On and on, and on. Purple couldn't contain her curiosity, and it was the first time she was able to speak to someone from a completely different world from her own.

She was so excited, but also a bit afraid. She feared for the gems that would become the target of her sisters' wrath... Especially White Diamond.

"And that is all... Now I am here. I am here with the remains of my court... I do not wish for them to suffer anymore." The diamond sighed, lowering her head.

Raf gently patted her shoulder, smiling. "Well, you'll be safe here. This planet is peaceful, and even if those Diamonds come looking for you, we can send you to Angie Town... Even though it's for angels, I'm sure you'll for right in. I mean... You're technically an immortal, right?"

"As long as my gem stays intact, I will live. So... Immortal, with a condition." She chuckled. "Ah, Pearl would love this."

Purple picked up a book from the corner of the room. It was a children's fairytale book, for angels, of course.

"Pearl?" Raf tilted her head. "Do you all just call each other by your gem type?"

Purple nodded. "Yes. If there are multiple of the same gem, they decide among themselves who we must be referring to. Though, there is only one Violet Pearl in my court. She is quite a joy."

"Okay... That's a little confusing still. We can't just call you purple."

Purple shrugged, then took a seat beside her friend. "In that case, just give me a name."

Raf's eyes widened. "Me? Name a diamond?"

"Um, how about we stop calling me a diamond. I think I'll just be an angel, like you." Purple slowly kicked her legs. "I don't have anywhere else to go. Nothing to do. I know nothing about this world, and I am so excited to learn."

"Well... I guess I could..." Raf had to think for a while. What kind of name would suit literal royalty. She couldn't just pick any old name, that would be rude.

Purple waited for the girl's answer, admiring the ladybug that was flying around them.

"Oh, I got it! How about... Elos?"

Purple smiled. "If that's what you want to call me, then so be it."
