Chapter 19

"How is going with my divorce process?"

"It won't be that easy... Jungkook, You can lose half of your wealth, including Dal... Your marriage contract stipulated your fidelity... Yoobi is insisting that you cheated on her and is even having proof..."

Yoobi has hired someone to spy on them. There were photos of him and Chaeyoung on their "date" with Dal and even the moment when they kissed goodbye...

"I don't care about the money... Keep going with the process..."

"What if she'll leak it to the press? It can harm Chaeyoung's reputation too..."

"I'll do something about it! Whenever it takes... I want that divorce!"

Jungkook was about to head to his office when he saw Taehyung, and surprisingly he wasn't alone.

He decided to follow him and find out what was happening. Why? Cuz!

The car stopped at a fancy restaurant, and the two got out of the car and entered it.

Jungkook was watching them from afar and when Taehyung got too closer to the woman he lost it.

How can he cheat on Chaeyoung? He won't let her go through the pain again...

He run and grabbed him by the collar.

"How dare you? How dare you cheat on Chaeyoung?", he wasn't thinking straight, that's why the next thing he did was to throw him a punch. The poor girl who was with him got scared.

" Jungkook! What do you think you're doing?"

It was Chaeyoung who rushed towards Taehyung to help him.

"Chae... He was cheating on you, I followed him all the way here with this woman... Why are you on his side?", he explained, watching confused as she was checking his wounded lip

"He is my brother you dummy!", she shouted in all her frustration

"B-brother?", realization hitting him slowly, "OMG! Did I just punch my soon-to-be brother-in-law? "

"Yes! What did you think?", she bit her lips. Chaeyoung hoped that this info won't reach Jungkook's ears this soon

"I thought you are his wife... Or girlfriend...", he said sulking, but inside he was beyond happy,  "MY Chaeyoung isn't married! And she's not dating!!!"

Ignoring him she gave her attention to Taehyung who was holding his jaw, "Tae, are you okay?", worriedly, she checks his well being

"I should say, he has a strong punch, I am going to be fine Rosie, don't worry... Better talk with this idiot..."

After Taehyung left Chaeyoung and Jungkook stayed there to talk about what happened.

He was looking at her with guilty puppy eyes, "I am sorry... ", 

"You should be..."

"Chae... ", he stepped closer and took her hands in his, his thumb carresing her delicate skin. He didn't know what to say actually. That he's grateful that she isn't in a relationship with Taehyung? Or that he can't accept her plea to stay away from her. He was already away from her for seven years, and it hurts because no matter how hard he denies it, it was still because of his choice.

"Do you want to eat?", he chose to push away his selfish desires to ask her to be with him

She was thinking hard, to accept his invitation or not, but her body did it instead of her mind because she felt a strong need to eat.

"Since we're still here... and I'm sure Taehyung ordered a lot, it'll be a waste of food if we don't eat it...", she said as if she didn't crave food

Jungkook smiled, he can read her like a book, but kept it low, "Of course, and We can order some more too...", and Chaeyoung's face literally lit up
