After moving into Jeon's mansion (of course, after Jungkook's nagging and begging) Chaeyoung was expecting him to be clingy and in his usual extra careful mode but she was wrong.

His mother was the real maniac.

She made sure that Chaeyoung was treated like a princess.

It was too much. Sometimes Chaeyoung wonders if she can chew her food by herself.

Chaeyoung believes that all the attention and care she gets from Mrs. Jeon is genuine but it's getting suffocating.

Jungkook is fed up too.

When Chaeyoung finally agreed to move in with him and Dal, he thought that he will spend all his time with her.

He wanted to be by her side, to experience together her pregnancy, watch how her womb is growing, to help and take care of her, things he wasn't part of when she was carrying Dal.

But no!

First, Taehyung will invite himself to see his sister and nephew, then her mom, and now his mother is 24/7 around his baby.

Jungkook thinks maybe he should snatch and hide her in his apartment to keep her only for himself and maybe for Dal...

Talking about Dal, he spends most of the time with Chaeyoung thanks to his summer break and he is positive that soon he will call her mom.

He and Chaeyoung understand that it's hard for him. For seven years Yoobi was the one he called mother, the one who took care of him, even if she didn't do it often.

It's nine in the evening and Jungkook finally got home, this time without her brother, and all he wants is to go to her, engulf her in his arms, and stay like that.

But first, he has to get over his mom, who is showing Chaeyoung the new baby clothes collection she just found.

"Mrs. Jeon, I think it's too soon to choose clothes for the baby... Especially when I still don't know the gender...",

Jungkook's mother stopped scrolling through the journal and locked warmly at her. Honestly, she would like to be called mom, although she finds it impossible, especially after all she has done, and the fact that she and her son didn't get married yet.

"That's fine, I'll contact them to make us an exclusive collection... Now have a slice of the pie, I made it to my special recipe"... she cut a slice of the pie and placed it on the plate, ready for her to just eat it.

Chaeyoung let out a sigh, it's always like that.

"Mrs. Jeon, I understand that you feel guilty towards me, and all this care and attention you give me is a way to make up for your actions, but it's too much..."

Jungkook who was listening to them, hidden by the wall nodded his head vigorously.

"I crossed the line, right?", her voice had a nuance of sadness, she for sure wasn't planning to suffocate her with her attention.

Chaeyoung didn't need to answer, it was more of a rhetorical question, and the expression on her face said it all already

"You are right, I feel extremely guilty... But, I would have done it for you anyway, I do care for you... I was blind back then and couldn't see your true value... I just want to make sure that you and the baby are fine and that there is no danger for both of you...", she explained her situation, she wanted her to know how she feels like, and that she truly loves her, not only because she makes her son the happiest but for her being herself.

"I understand that it's hard to forgive me... But that is not my intention, all I want is to give you all the things you deserve and should have gotten back then..."
