That night, Tundra searched all over the place for something she could enchant for Dune. After the three moons were in the middle of the sky, she finally found a gem that was laying in the sand. I guess that could work, I'm pretty sure that sling had a pouch in it.

One moon was a crescent, very thin and barely seable. The other two moons were almost full.

The gem was red, and was shaped like a safire, it shimmered in the moonlight, sparkling and glistening like it was brand new.

Tundra brought it back to Dune before enchanting it.

When she got back Dune was still asleep. Good, I don't need her to know about my magic, Tundra thought.

Before she enchanted the gem, she looked to see if the sling Dune was wearing had a pouch, and it did.

"I enchant this gem to heal the wings of any dragon that comes in contact with it," Tundra whispered.

She carefully put the gem into Dunes' sling. Dune twitched, but stayed asleep.

Instantly the gash on her wing closed up. And her wings looked brand new, despite the old blood stain.

Tundra Didn't sleep that night either. She knew they were not in a safe spot. Someone needed to stay awake and keep watch.

Tundra couldn't sleep even if she wanted to. She was way too worried, and her mind was spinning a million miles a second. At least in the morning we can fly, and actually make some progress. Tundra thought.

In the morning Tundra was woken up by Dune. Apparently I did end up falling asleep last night. Tundra realized.

"Tundra! Tundra look! Dune said. My wing is fixed! How did this happen?

Uh, Tundra thought, Sitting up.

"Uhm, I found an enchanted gem and I uh- put it in your sling." Tundra stuttered.

Dune looked at her with a are you actually serious? look.

"Uhm, are you sure? You don't seem like you're so sure about that," Dune said, arching her gaze to Tundra's face. Dune looked like she was inspecting Tundra's face to see if she was lying or not.

"Yes, I was up for most of the night looking for something to heal your wing so we can actually get somewhere." Tundra said with a scowl.

Dune didn't look convinced.

"How did you know it was animus touched, and that it would heal only my wings?" Dune said with a narrow expresion.

Oh no, Tundra thought. How am I going to explain this?

"Uh, when I picked it up it healed the tiny gashes in my wings," Tundra lied.

"Then why do your wings still have the gashes in them?" Dune said.

"Because when I put it in your sling the spell went away from me, and transitioned into you," Tundra lied again. "It must be enchanted to only heal the wings of whoever is touching it," Tundra said.

Dune's expresion didn't change.

"Ok, I guess, let's just go." Dune said, eyes still looking at Tundra.

Well great, she obviously knows I'm lying, but at least she isn't questioning it, Tundra thought. She is definitely smarter than she looks.

Once they flew off they were flying right in the direction of the Rainforest. They were silent for a while before Dune broke the silence. Tundra did notice that she had a thinking expression the entire time.
