Wings Of Fire: The Wings Of War

~Chapter 11~

Before Tundra even realized what she was doing, she flung herself off her platform, completely ignoring the pain from her cuts, and burns. She plowed herself into the Skywing guard that was hosting the battle. The entire crowd gasped.

"TUNDRA! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" Sandstorm screamed.

All the Skywing guards flew into the arena, and a giant fight started. Tundra managed to slice Dunes wing bands off, and Dune was now flying alongside Tundra fighting as well. Sandstorm was stuck on the ground still, but was also fighting.

Mercury joined the fight, and got Sandstorms wing bands off.

six guards crowded around Sandstorm. Tundra plowed herself through all of them.

"GO, GET OUT OF HERE!" Tundra screamed, as she plowed through the Skywings crowding Dune.

"BOTH OF YOU GO!" Tundra shrieked.

Rattlesnake was standing on his platform flapping his wings all over the place, but was still chained.

"I'm not leaving you here!" Dune said.

Sandstorm plowed herself into two Skywings. Some of the Skywings from the audience joined the fight.

"Yes you are," Tundra said. "I'll be ok."

One of Skywings fighting wheezed.

A huge Skywing plowed into Tundra, as Rattlesnake, somehow broke his chains, and flung himself into the Skywing that was on Tundra.

"All of you, go." I'll be ok..." Tundra thought, really doubting that.

"There's no way I would leave you here in a thousand years," Rattlesnake said.

"We will come back for her, I promise, '' Sandstorm said, grabbing Rattlesnake.

He struggled trying to break free of her grip, but failed.

Sandstorm, Rattlesnake, and Dune flew away, and Tundra and Mercury were left to deal with the Skywings by themselves.

Out of nowhere, a Skywing flew into Tundra, slamming her into the arena floor. He was sinking his claws into Tundra's neck. There was only one thing she could do to save her life.

Tundra looked around frantically, and saw a spear laying in the sand,

"Spear, kill this Skywing" Tundra commanded.

Every dragon, including Mercury, stared in shock as the spear flung itself through the Skywings face.

Tundra flung herself into the air, and got slammed into the arena wall, getting knocked out.

When she woke up, it was dark. Her chains were fixed, and her wings were rebound. She still had her necklace, and her horn ring, along with the dream visitor. She looked over at Rattlesnakes platform. He wasn't there.

Where is Rattlesnake? Tundra thought, feeling scared. Oh right, he went with the rest of them..

Tundra looked out over the prison platforms expecting to see Mercury. She wasn't anywhere to be found.

What did they do with her? Tundra thought, panic running threw her entire body. I'm gonna have to use my animus magic to break free this time, I know it, Tundra thought.

Tundra tried to wait a little while to see if Mercury appeared anywhere. She didn't, and Tundra was getting too worried, and impatient.

Chains, and wing bands, break Tundra thought. Her chains, and wing bands clanked onto the platform.
