"Careful girls" Maya told her girls as she saw them running around the station being chased by Ace.
Carina was at work as usual when the girls' school called asking her if she could pick them up. Luna and Emma's school day was cut short because of how snowy it was outside.
Even though it didn't snow that much in Seattle, today was the exception, thankfully Carina was able to organize everything to pick them up and stay with them at home.
As happy as both girls were about leaving school early, both quickly got bored at home, so Carina decided she could pay her wife a visit. As to Ace, Luna didn't want to leave him behind and the brunette just couldn't say no to her.
"I think I'm going to go home" Carina announced to her wife as she grabbed her jacket "It's getting late, and I don't want to drive at night" she said as the blonde nodded "Girls go grab your jackets"
"I'll see you in a bit" Maya told the brunette as she gave her a little peck "Be careful" she said unable to help but worry
"I'll" Carina said giving her a reassuring smile "You too"
"Bye mommy" Emma said as she walked towards Maya who quickly bend down a little to give her girl a hug "Don't forget movie night" the kid warned
"I wouldn't miss it" she answered earning a smile from the blonde "Bye kiddo" she said as she let go of the younger girl and quickly received the older one "I'll see you at home" the woman reassured
"Okay" the girl said as she nodded "Love you mom" she said, never forgetting to say it when she was going to be away from either one of her moms for a while
"Love you too"

"Mamma please" Emma begged to her mom with her puppy eyes "Just for a little bit"
"I don't know..." the brunette answer not really knowing if her daughter's idea was the best
Emma had spent the last half an hour trying to convince her mom to let her go out. It wasn't that late yet, and the snow outside looked like fun. First, she convinced her sister to support her on this one, then it was time for the hard part. Carina wasn't really a fan of the snow or this type of weather in general, so it wasn't going to be easy
"I'm home!" Maya said as she entered the house, closing the door behind her
"Hi mom" Luna was the first one to greet her since her sister was so caught up with convincing the brunette "Any big calls?" she asked as she hugged the blonde not really caring about the smoky smell
"Not really" she answered earning a smile from the kid who just nodded "Where's mamma and Emma?" the blonde asked suddenly realizing the absence of both of them
"Well mamma's in the kitchen making coffee" she started explaining as Maya took of her jacket "and Emma's trying to convince her to let us go outside" she said making the blonde chuckle at the thought of the little blonde using her puppy eyes trying to break the brunette
"But it's cold out" the blonde said looking at the girl who just shrugged "Do you want to go outside?" she asked making the older girl look in direction to the kitchen to just nod. She promised her sister she would help her convince her moms
"The snow looks like fun" she said as Maya nodded
After this Maya told Luna to wait for her with her mom while she took a quick shower. When she was done and went to the living room, she found her wife listening to the youngest one in the family while she caressed Luna's hair, that was sat next to her
