chapter 11!!
Almost.
First Person (RINTAROU) Point Of View (POV).
It was Mei's Christmas break, which means spending more time with Mei and Y/n.
I opened up to y/n last month and she's been treating me so good. She's always giving random hugs, cookies and other food she makes, and cuddling at sometimes after a bad day.
She takes such good care of both me and my daughter, if someone told me I'd be living life like this, this happy, about 7 months ago I'd laugh and think that you're lying.
Im so happy.
We're currently at the mall buying Christmas decorations, and letting mei roam around a little.
"rintarou pleaseeee just this holiday i wont force you to do it again please please pleaseeeeee" y/n nagged.
We were in the clothes section and she saw a Christmas onsie set for 3, 2 adults and a child.
I didn't want to because I thought it was childish and the onsie had ears on it, so im definitely not wearing that.
I giggled at her, "no y/n. You're acting like mei"
She fake-gasped, placing a hand over her mouth."No im not. Now please just on Christmas"
"mei, whats the lesson that your dad teached you?" I said, now looking at my daughter.
"no means no" she sighed. Mei already gave up on begging me to buy them a while ago.
"i know that no means no and I even use it, but please! We'll look amazing please rintarou pleaseee" she said for the millionth time, making me smile.
"fine, ill buy it for us" I gave in.
"THANK YOU RINTAROU"
"THANK YOU DAD" the girls said at the same time, smiling.
This is one of the moments that I would never trade for the world, I genuinely love those 2 girls so much.
Mei hugged the both of us, but in a sort of different way.
She purposefully hugged us in a way to make me and y/n's faces inches away from each other, making both of us giggle at the girl's actions.
We hugged her back and let go, starring down at her.
"thats evil mei, you know exactly what you're doing" y/n said, playing with mei's hair.
Mei fixed her hair as she smiled, "its just being smart" she added confidently.
"okay miss confident, lets go pick a Christmas tree". I carried her which made her widely smile as we walked towards the trees so we can pick one that suits our house.
"this one, actually no this! Its ugly nevermind... This is the best tree! No there's better" mei rambled.
"mei they're all the same pick a random one"
"Fine! This one". She pointed at a medium sized tree which the worker picked up and prepped it for us in the cart.
"can you please make Christmas themed sugar cookies?" mei politely asked, smiling at y/n.
"of course I can" she said, patting mei's head.
After we did some more Christmas shopping and whatever mei announced that she wants to go to the bathroom, and that's why me and y/n are waiting outside of the main bathrooms door of the mall, deciding to not leave her alone in a place like this.
We were just planning how we're gonna organize Christmas decorations and gifts for mei, nothing too special.
Y/n suddenly gasped and speed-walked towards me, clinging onto my shirt.
"what are you doing...?" I asked in a confused tone.
"there's 3 fucking spiders on the wall, I hate spiders so much. Their legs are scary" she muttered, coming closer to me.
"it wont eat you y/n" I said, laughing as I made fun of her.
"Still... Same thing!" she argued.
As y/n started backing away slowly her eyes landed on mine, stopping her from backing away.
My eyes averted from her eyes to her lips, she's so pretty....
My arms were around her waist, as she put her hands on my shoulders.
I wanted to kiss her so bad.
And as if we read each other's minds, we leaned in at the same time, feeling the need to kiss eachother.
"rin....? Is that you?" a woman said.
