chapter 18!!
Connected.
First Person (YOU) Point Of View (POV)
"what happened?" rintarou asked, quickly getting up.
"we have no time, who here has blood type B+ or do you know someone who does?".
"elle is the one who has B+ not me I don't know-" . I just remembered that I actually do have that type.
"I do, I have B+" I announced to the nurse.
"Please quickly follow me" the nurse said.
1 hour later.
I found rintarou waiting in front of mei's room along with kiyoko and tanaka.
Rintarou got up and hugged me tightly, his hugs are the best.
"thank you so much". The worry was crystal clear in rintarou's voice, and I dont blame him at all, it was a serious amount.
"its no problem at all" I said, patting his back.
"no you genuinely dont know what I would do without you". holy shit?!
Before I can even reply to him, the doors finally opened after multiple hours of waiting. The doctor announced that only parents are allowed to see her.
Rintarou looked at me, as if he was thinking? I don't know. Then, out of nowhere he took my hand and walked me in to mei's room. Does he count me as her parent?
I didn't question it a lot, mei kind of started calling me mom anyway which makes me VERY happy. Being called 'mom' is so beautiful. I never understood why until the first time mei has called me mom.
We walked in the room to find her awake. Her face was just a bit pale, but other than that she looked okay, she was even smiling.
"I missed you!!!" she exclaimed, making us both smile.
"we missed you so much more mei" rintarou said to the little girl, adding a kiss on her cheek after.
"we're connected now. We have the same blood now" I said to mei.
"we're like actually mom and daughter" she smiled, holding my hand with her uninjured hand.
"yeah, like actual mom and daughter".
"do you feel better?" her father asked.
"a little bit, but please dont take me back there.. please" she begged, she looks so traumatized. Its genuinely sad to see this little sweet kid in a state like that.
"We wont mei. We're gonna open the case tommorow to get you back to your normal life okay? You should hang in there for a little bit and we'll fix everything", making mei nod. I'd seriously rather do anything but return her to that psychotic woman's house. She should not be named.
"We'll be back home when your hand heals and the anesthesia takes off alright?" rintarou told her.
"is it okay if i sleep?" she asked. We of course said yes, and helped her cover up since her right hand was no use.
After a while me and rin left the room, we said our goodbyes and thank yous to tanaka and kiyoko before they left.
Me and rintarou went to the cafeteria for extra space and just to sit more comfortably, all of the waiting chairs were very uncomfortable.
"you remember what was your first thought of me? Like what made us bond the most?" Rintarou asked, making me laugh.
"me calling you a dilf" I said, laughing again, and I can swear I heard rintarou laughing too.
Its always so funny when we think about it, its not even embarrassing me much anymore.
"well then... If im a dilf then i suppose that you have to be a milf".
