chapter 17!!

Lucky.

First Person (KIYOKO) Point Of View (POV)

"Ryu, we're fucking late because you overslept. Please take the easy way." I told my husband.

"fine fine!" He said, driving to the other road.

"So... I was thinking before going to suga's house we can get some- oh my god stop driving!" I said.

"why baby?! You just told me to drive faster!" he argued.

"There's a child bleeding there! Stop the car tanaka!", and he wasted no time in hitting the breaks making the car stop.

Ryu adores kids, so he basically would do anything for them.

I stepped outside of the car and ran towards the little girl to check up on her. I noticed that she's crying and her hand was bleeding, it looked like the top of her hand was fully slit. And purposefully.

"whats wrong" I said to the little girl, bowing down to her height. She didn't say much, she just showed me her hand, it looks even worse up close.

"can i take you to the hospital sweetheart? You can trust me." I know kids aren't supposed to go with strangers, but if she was left alone for a longer time worse would happen to her. She nodded, and I carried her to the car.

I sat back in my seat, placing the little girl on my lap and closed the door, "Ryu drive to a hospital please", and with that, we started driving to the nearest hospital.

"whats your name?" I asked, trying to keep her entertained.

"im Mei".

"beautiful name sweetheart! It suits you well. Who did this to you?". She's a very pretty child with a pretty name.

"elle, shes my birth mom but i dont count her as my mom" she muttered, staring at her shaky hand.

"who are your parents? We can call them up if you remember their number and we'll ask them to come to the hospital"

"uhh, Rintarou and Y/n, i know dad's number only"

I looked at ryu directly, seeing him already looking at me. We were both sharing the same glance. Shock.

"oh my god?? Okay mei im basically your... Mothers? Yeah okay im your mom's best friend im gonna call her right now" I told the little girl. What a small world.

Y/n's POV.

We were still walking around the neighborhood trying our best to find mei, and we still couldn't. Its been about 10 minutes and we sick worried.

My phone started ringing, I took it out of my bag to see that it was kiyoko. I wasn't gonna hang up in her face so I just answered to inform her that Im busy.

kiyoko ill call you another time okay? Im really busy right now

Don't hang up! I know that you're looking for mei right now. Dont worry we found her.

oh my god what... How did you...?

long story, go to the hospital on the main road of this neighborhood. We'll see you there with mei.

And with that she hung up. What the fuck.

"Rin my best friend kiyoko found mei somehow, she said to meet her in the hospital of the main road in this neighborhood come on quick" I told rintarou.

We both went towards (ran) to the car and drove to the location kiyoko gave us as soon as possible, and later on we were there.

We entered the hospital and asked the receptionist for mei, which lead us to room 272.

"y/n" kiyoko sighed, hugging me.

"hi, whats going on?"

"mei needs about 1 or 2 hours, lets sit in the cafeteria and talk".

At the cafeteria.

"Me and ryu were going to suga's house to see him and daichi, but then we saw her running away from whatever she was running away from. She was full on sobbing and her hand was bleeding, its like someone slit it. She said her birth mother did that to her". The word 'slit' made me and rintarou look at each other.

"first throats, now hands..?" I told rintarou, and with that he sighed.

"i took her to our car to take her to the hospital, i tried to entertain her by asking whats her name and parents and she said 'my parents are Rintarou and Y/n', you always talk about rintarou and we heard your name so we just guessed. Its a small world." kiyoko explained.

Rintarou smiled, i dont know if it was about the fact that mei thought of us as her parents or that I talk about him a lot but it made me smile too, causing my cheeks to get red.

"me talking about him was supposed to be a girls secret!" i complained, glaring at kiyoko.

"well you didn't update me and tell me that you're dating the boy you've called a dilf for like 5 months???" she argued back.

"were not dating-"

"-yet" rintarou added. OH.

"ohhhh okay y/n okay" kiyoko said, smiling at me.

"that's one bold move you got there" tanaka commented.

"well, changing the topic, Suna and ryu have met before"

"Really? How?" I asked rin.

"we played a game against each other in our 2nd year for nationals" he explained.

"if i was a manager just a year back we would've met. I became a manager at my 3rd year because yachi needed help"

Before we can continue talking, a nurse speed walked towards our table.

"who here has blood type B+ ?" she asked.
