As a fan of O4U, Ash wakes up each day happy. Her hobbies including collecting photocards and joining concerts. She was happy as she possibly could be. Until her aunt wanted her back home. Temporarily.
Being raised with your Aunt's large family, was...
After traveling for 2 hours to meet shortly with her aunt and cousin, she didn't expect her first day of housekeeping to be so lively.
She met Faith again. Ash was lucky her employer was someone she knew - it gave her a sense of relief.
It excited her that she got to meet and even talk to her idols. What didn't calm her was that she saw Khael - the person she'd been crushing on - half-naked.
She knew it would be a bad idea to search for her room without Faith's guidance, but the day had taken her energy and all she wanted was to lay down on a bed and sleep.
Ash was going to apologize again the next day, hoping she didn't creep him out and she'd get fired. Even though she never expected to work for them, she didn't want to waste the opportunity to have a friendly conversation with them.
She walked away from the hallway where the rooms were found and waited for Faith in the living room. Ash
"Hey, Ash," Faith's voice interrupted her thoughts. "Have you found your room yet?"
"No, not yet," She felt like she couldn't confess out loud what she had just done, feeling as if she would be fired with no hesitation.
"I'll take you to it," Faith led her to the end of the hallway, just where Khael's room was. "Right here. Sleep well." Faith left right away, leaving Ash on her own.
Her room was the opposite of Khael's - just inches away from where the incident happened.
She entered her room and it was similar to Khael's room. The room was as large as her whole apartment, if not larger. The cabinets were what she called wooden elegance - carvings of vines ran through the edges that had the shine of gold. A sliding window was located at the left of the room - the view of the moon was visible from there. Her bathroom was located to the right of the room. It looked as elegant and stylish as the whole house.
Closing the door, she unpacked her stuff.
It was insane to think that the people she admired and looked up to - were her housemates. It would take a few steps to reach them. She could converse with them - inevitable as they would spend days together, trapped in one house.
A knock stopped Ash from dazing. It was Khael. He was dressed comfortably. His wet hair was dripping on her floor - their shared eye contact bringing chills to her spine - those unreadable eyes that seem to know what made her squirm in embarrassment.
"You seem like you want me naked just like earlier," Crossing his arms, he raised his eyebrows and smirked at her. The expression in total forced Ash to act as if she didn't find that attractive.
"No! Not at all!" She exclaimed. "I would prefer you dressed."
"Does that mean you don't like me naked?" He pouted.
"What?! No! What's with that question?" She felt her face burn. The fact that she's talking casually with her idol was crazy. Even crazier when he's lightly flirting with her. Ash transferred to her bed, sitting with her legs crossed.
Khael chuckled. "I'm just playing with you," He extended his hand out. "It's nice to meet you." Ash shook his hand.
"I'm sorry I wasn't very interactive earlier today." Khael moved to sit beside her, the close contact raising the hairs on Ash's arm but ignoring it.
"No worries. You must've been tired from your travel." She understood. Sleeping in her aunt's house hadn't been going well for her - the constant arguments their family had, had kept her up all night. She was grateful Faith wasn't too hard on her first day.

Khael and Ash continued to chat on her bed. They talked about the activities they would be doing and even invited Ash - to which she refused with the excuse of having to clean up after them.
"I guess that makes sense," Khael thought. "But I'd be nice for us all to bond, seeing as you'll be living with us for a month."
"She should!" The door burst open, revealing Caleb and Seth. Holding snacks, Seth was crunching on them without a care for manners. He jumped in the bed but avoided crumbs falling in. Khael reprimanded him but it went through deaf ears.
"Sorry. It was Seth who was eavesdropping, I just joined now," Caleb explained.
"True," Seth agreed. "Anyway, you should join us sometime. This might be our vacation but if we'll make a huge mess, you need to as well."
"That's just idiotic," Caleb protested. "Let her do what she wants."
"Thank you but I really shouldn't," Ash responded. "I'm only hired to clean the house not join in the vacation."
"It's okay. Don't feel forced to," Khael stood up, pulling the two who joined in and already made a mess of the sheets. "We'll be leaving now. Good night."
"Night," Caleb pulled Seth away from the sheets. "Let's go."
"Ugh, fine. Good night Ash!"
"Goodnight." With that, they left. It was unbelievable that she was able to talk to them normally. They all talked to her as if she was an old friend. But what surprised her, even more, was that she was able to converse with Khael normally - and even flirted with her, lightly.
But it must've been her mind playing tricks with her. She stopped herself treating the friendly chat they both had as flirting. Having thoughts of being more than housemates or friends would be just her getting to herself.
