The group were standing on a rooftop, the wind blowing Theo's hair across her face. Wong uncovered the dead body of another Doctor Strange, Theo's eyes widened as she gasped, looking down at a dead body who looked just like her dad terrified her. Sensing her discomfort, the brunette girl put her hand on the other's shoulder, Theo immediately leaning into her touch.

"So, it wasn't a dream." Stephen spoke, inspecting his other self, "That means, dreams are the windows into the lives of our multiversal selves." He realised. The girl took her hand off Theo's shoulder as she spoke, "That was his theory." Motioning to the dead Doctor Strange lying before them.

Wong looked disturbed, "So that recurring dream I have where I'm running away, naked, from a clown..." Theo looked at him, not knowing whether to be concerned or laugh.

"Somewhere out there, it's real." The girl responded, "Somewhere out there, I had a ponytail." Stephen stated.

Theo looked closer at the body, "I won't lie, a ponytail looks good on you." She said to her dad, sarcastically, which Stephen rolled his eyes in reply. "There could be more creatures after her." Wong began, "The power is dangerous enough in the hands of a kid, imagine if a real threat acquired it?" Stephen finished.

The girl began to walk backwards, "It occurs to me, young one, we don't know your name." Wong approached her slowly.

"America Chavez." She answered, looking at the both of them and then at Theo.

"Miss Chavez, will you come with us to Kamar-Taj? You'll be safe there." Wong offers America. She looks at them sceptically, "How do I know that you won't betray me like he did?" She asked them.

Theo put a hand on her shoulder, as America turned to look at her, "I guess you just have to trust us." She said, her hand sliding down America's arm to hold her hand, the brunette blushed as the two stared at each other softly before Wong started to speak, "What do we do with him?" He asked, then Stephen cleared his throat and buried the body underneath tiles, stating that he'd buried worse.

"The creature that killed him...did it have the same markings as the octopus?" Wong asked, "Runes." Stephen answered. Wong paused for a second, "This isn't sorcery." Then Theo caught onto what they were saying, "It's witchcraft." She whispered as she came to a realisation.

"Do we know anyone who's faced such a thing."

Stephen thought for a moment until a person came into mind, "I think I might." Then he opened a portal and disappeared. Wong opened another portal to Kamar-Taj, the three walked in. Theo looked around, it looked so much different from when she was last there. The two girls were taken into a room as Wong went of to speak to other sorcerers.

The two were alone in a room and America really wanted to get to know the other, "So, it's Theo, right?" She asked, sitting down next to the blonde.

"Yeah, I like your jacket." Theo smiled at the brunette, who smiled back, "Thank you."

Theo turned to face her, "What's it like in the multiverse?" She asked, curiously. "It's always different, no two universes are the same." America answered, blushing slightly at how close Theo was. "That's really cool!" The blonde said in excitement.

"What's your powers? I seen you use them during fighting that octopus." America questioned, referring to the fight earlier that day. "I have Electrokinesis." She stated, "Which means that I can manipulate, generate and absorb electrical energy." She continued as she created a small orange spark of electricity between her fingers.

"Holy shit that's cool!" America was amazed by the girls abilities, "Thanks, you're pretty cool as well, I mean, travelling the multiverse is incredible!" She exclaimed. The brunette smiled softly, butterflies settling into her stomach. "Yeah, I just don't know how to control it." She said, upsettingly. "That's okay, you'll learn to over time." Theo put her hand on top of America's, both of them felt a spark inside them when their hands touched.

They sat in a comfortable silence, "Is Stephen your real dad?" America asked, breaking the quiet.

"No, he adopted me when I was eight years old." Theo replied, truthfully.

America didn't want to ask about her real parents, knowing that it's probably a sensitive topic for the blonde. "That was nice of him." She said, "Yeah, he's a really nice person." Theo smiled at the thought of her dad.

Suddenly, a portal opened and Stephen walked through, "Well, speak of the devil." Theo smirked.

The two walked up to him, "How'd it go? Are we fucked?" The blonde asked her dad, "First of all, watch your language. Second of all, we are fucked." He replied.
