I took my shoulder bag and put my iPhone in my Jacket's side pocket. As I started to move towards the stairs all I had in my mind was last night's incident. My heart was beating faster with each move, I could hear my every breath.
I reached the living, I heard mom. "Beth, lets move."
Her statement was short but it held lots of meaning. I did not question her decision farther and just obeyed to what she asked.I reached to our car, where Chloe was already sitting by the window. My twin, Charlotte Jones, fun loving, sportive, gorgeous , blond , tall...in short every boys' dream. But that dream girl was looking like, she had been through a storm recently. Her eyes were dull, hair was a mess, even though she was not looking at me but somewhere outside the window, I could see that clearly. I slid beside her with a thick cloud of silence inside. This silence was killing me. I was the silent type but Chloe was not. I wanted to talk to her, make her feel comfortable but for some reason silence felt to be more suitable to the situation.
Mom broke the silence as she opened the door and slid herself inside. Behind her was a man following, who used to be very charming and fascinating once , who used to love his family and his only business the most, who was himself the best example of a business tycoon in the whole country and the best dad of all. But now all he looked like was a tramp from road. And the person was nobody else but my dad, he might be looking like a tramp but he was surely still the richest person in Whole London, the place where I belong.
"Please Annie , Please...Don't go..." Dad said as he kept knocking at the glassed window. Mom was determined but I knew that behind that strong face of her there was sudden sorrow hidden just underneath the surface. Chloe was not looking this side she was looking the other side, at the same very spot like before. To some extent I wanted to do the same, not because I hated dad or anything but looking at him felt hard and I could not just turn around because ignoring him felt harder.
"Sorry William...but life cannot go on like this." With that mom asked the driver to drive and soon we were out of our mansion's main gate.

Last Night
Mom pacing back and forth in the hall. Her dress was ironed and her hair was perfectly done. Typically particular as always, anyone could not understand that she has two seventeen year old kids, she was just stunning as always. But now she was looking completely exhausted and frustrated. Even her perfect hair and dress up were not able to hide them. There was sudden fear hiding in those eyes.
"Mom calm down." I said "He'll be back soon." as I tried to sooth her tension away.
"Its' freaking 2 a.m. Beth! 2! for God's sake.!" Mom shouted. I knew it was not her but her anxiety was speaking. And with that she bumped down on the floor with her hands holding her face, I could feel her pain, her tension.
"Mom..." I sat down beside her on the floor.
"Don't...Just don't!" Now she was crying, and I could feel my eyes were getting watery too. I tried to speak but my own saliva was choking me. " Don't side with him again, Beth." She let her more tears to fall. And this was really hard. I loved her so did I love my dad too. I wanted to stand for both of them but it was really not in my favor to do so. So I remained quite. "This is what I get in return? "She asked, pleading, her eyes were red and swollen.
"Mom please..." I was again cut by her.
"I cannot take this anymore!" Her voice was high this time. "Today will be the last day! its a now or never." I was not following her. As I was about to ask her what she was talking about. Some noise came from the front door.
