Chapter 30 - The new ones.

I went on my way to the company before meeting Jimin. I'm not sure about what he will be talking about, but I hope he'll make it as brief as possible. I cannot risk getting caught right now.

I calmly walked through the hallways until I reached our lockers. I left my eye glasses here, the last time.

When I was on my way back, someone caught my attention.

"Really? Because the last time, I remember, you told me that you won't keep us as a secret to your family." a voice shouted from somewhere. It sounded like a man's voice, he's crying but at the same time, he's mad. What was it all about?

It sounded like it came from the practice room so I made my way to check it. It's not like I wanted tea, I just felt like I had to check on something. Like I might be needed, or at least my presence will stop the heavy atmosphere.

Just as I was on my way inside, a figure of a man showed in front of me. He's taller than me, by what I assume, like 10 cm or more. I tried to look and see who it was but he was wearing his face mask and a bonnet, making his eyes as his only feature visible to me.

He looked shocked when he saw me, I saw how his eyes widen in full anxiousness. He's also vexed and angry. Perhaps, he's the one who I heard shouting? Perhaps it's his voice.

But something else caught my attention. His eyes... it's not happy. His eyes are bloodshot, was he crying? He also looked like he hadn't slept for weeks.

He ran away moments after seeing me. And taking it the way as I see it, he didn't look like he was expecting someone else to see them. I also felt his urge to come back inside to maybe check on the person he left, but decided to just move forward without even saying a word.

I decided to walk inside when he left. There, I saw another figure of a man.

He was sitting on the couch, his head is down, and his hands are on his nape. His shoulders are also moving up and down. Is he crying? Is he the reason why the man I just met looked like he was crying as well? What had happened?

"A-are you okay?" I blurted out.

I mentally slapped myself for that. I should've atleast greeted. The man looked shocked. He winced upon hearing my voice and immediately stood up and backwards from the couch.

What? I'm not gonna eat him or torture him or something. I just want to see who he is, ask what happened, make sure everything's fine, i don't know. I just want to see what the commotion I heard, was all about.

"S-sunbaenim.." sunbaenim? he's my junior?

"sunbaenim? who are you? are you perhaps an artist like me, too?" I asked.

Not to sound arrogant or something, but I don't really remember him. He's on the dark side of the room so I can't really see his features well. I am not the type of person to easily remember someone's voice, and I'm not really good in making friends.

"I-I'm sorry. I have to go" the guy said before getting his bonnet and putting his face mask on.

he doesn't look as tall as the man I just met, few minutes before I met him, but he's taller than me, too. He has a tan complexion by what I observed before he went out. Different from the first man who has a milky-white skin like me.

His voice is also not the same shouting voice that I heard, so I must be right. Maybe the first man really owned that voice. Maybe that's why he looked vexed, too. I suddenly felt bad on going in here. Maybe I shouldn't have tried to see, maybe I should've left them alone.

Maybe it's private and they don't want to share it. Why did I even think of going here? I must've disturbed them. They seem like they're engaged in a very serious situation too, considering their bloodshot eyes and reaction when they saw me.

Sunbaenim? They must be a junior of mine ... a man ... a junior ... Stray Kids?

They're our only junior in Korea who's a boy group.

"Really? Because the last time, I remember, you told me that you won't keep us as a secret to your family." What's going on? is someone in skiz in a relationship? But they're supposed to be on a dating ban, shouldn't they? Every artist in our company is on 3 years dating ban, so they shouldn't be on a relationship.

Maybe that's why they wanna keep it as a secret? because they're on dating ban?

AAHHH, Kim Dahyun. Why do I even care? Why am I sticking my nose on someone else's business.

Wait- It's not like I wanted to do something bad. I just tried checking to see if there's a problem. I don't have any bad intentions.

Should I ask yugyeom about this? Ahh, no. It's private and not my business. I shouldn't be blabbering someone else's business to other people. Besides, I have something else to think about.

There's someone out there that's still waiting for me.

short update !! and i'm back after god knows how many weeks, months, or maybe a year. 💀

i started writing this when i don't even have an idea who stray kids is, and now they're my ult. 🧍🏼

ANYWAYS, GUESS WHO THEY MEN ARE !! and let me know what do you think will happen to Jimin and Dahyun's meeting.
