"Dahyun" she froze upon hearing the voice of the one who called her. This can't be happening. She told herself. She was in a shock. She don't know what to do. Her hands started to tremble. She's trying her best to stop her tears from streaming down her face.

"Dahyun.." Vernon on the other line called again. He himself can't even believe that he called Dahyun. He don't know what happened but there's something in him which tells him to call her. And he knows the reason why he have to.

Dahyun on the other side sat from laying down her bed. She folded her knees and hugged them. Still trying to stop her tears from falling. She couldn't, she shouldn't let him know that she's crying. That she's still pained of what happened in the past.

She thought that she has moved on already. But all those thoughts are wasted upon hearing his voice again after 2 years.

"Who is this?" She asked even though she knew who's talking to her right now. She still believes that it's not him. There's still a part of her that tells her to believe that it's not him. It can't be him.

"V-Vernon" The man on the other line told her. It's getting harder and harder for her to stop her tears while the conversation is still ongoing.

"Oh hi" she even tried her best not to stutter even if the man on the other side keeps on stuttering. How can he not stutter? He's the reason why she's pained. He knows that to himself.

"Hi.. How are you?" Vernon was scared to ask that. But he did. He scared that she might burst. Scared that she might turn into the worst part of her when she gets mad. He's afraid that... He'll totally lose her. But he did. He lost her already. The time where he decided to leave her hanging. He lost her that time. And there's no way he could ever win her back.

"I'm fine. I'm doing good." She answered. Im happy that you're fine. Vernon thought to himself. He's happy. He really is. He's happy that she's fine without him, she's fine after everything. But is she really fine?

Liar Kim Dahyun. Dahyun told herself. She's not fine. She knows that to herself. She still needs an explanation. Why did he leave her?

Leaving her made her question herself. Am I not worth it? Do I deserve this? Am I ugly? Am I not his type anymore? Am I... Not deserving for the love I want..??

And after hearing his voice, she questioned herself again. With the same questions. But still, there are no answers. But she answered she's fine. Because she have to run. And she keeps on running away. From the truth. She keeps on running away from her faith.. I'll run away... Forever... If I can... That's her motto. The motto she believes from the day he left her up until now. And maybe until forever..

"I heard you're out already" She kept the conversation going.. Hoping that at least, she'll be having his reasons now.

"Yup." he answered. "Congratulations" the audacity to congratulate him after everything?!! "I have to go now." She answered. She seems not to find the reason. There's no way he's telling it. She thought to herself.

"Wait!" Vernon stopped her from ending the call. What is it this time?! Dahyun thought. She can't stop her tears anymore. Please make it faster vernon.

"Can we meet on Saturday?" He asked. Her jaw dropped. Why do they have to meet? Does he want to see how she's doing without him? Or is there deeper reason behind it?

"I'll try..." She answered. She wasn't sure if she'll go or not. "I'll text you the address. And the time.. I'll be waiting." That's the last thing she heard from him before he end the call and before her tears came rushing down her face. Luckily this isn't a busy week because the preparation for their next comeback will start next week... But this is a long day.
