Can we start over again?

Just press rewind, and pretend that I never said goodbye,

I would love to not ever have said goodbye,

Over again,

I’d love to look at you over again,

See your smiling face,

The way your hair sits on your shoulders,

Over again,

I’d like to tell you, not to pretend,

Be happy about who you are what you are, and everything you are,

Your not out of place, your perfect where you are,

Over again,

Hit the brakes and press rewind,

Cause now is the best, the better time,

I got to tell you and let you know,

Hold you for ever not let you go,

Cause we won’t be forever young,

I got to a risk, but I know it truly aren’t,

Cause with you by my side, I could reach the sky day or night,

I’d like to start over again,

Wipe the tears from your eyes,

And tell you I’ve come to my senses and never said goodbye,

Cause my kiss can mend your broken heart, and if you won’t let me back in I’ll try and try over again until you trust me until you do,

I’d like to try over again, and come right back for you,

And I’d lend you my broken parts, to fix your broken heart,

Cause if we start over again,
