After getting suspended from school, Kendall dedicated her time to packing and getting everything ready for the move. As she packed, she was glad that there were only two times in her life that she had to move because the packing was tedious and hard as hell.

They packed for the next two weeks. Kendall, even though they were moving to Raven Block, was excited to see her new house and thought instead of telling Hannah and Stephanie she was moving, she'd surprise them instead. Even though they hadn't been able to talk as much, she knew they would be thrilled to see her. She smiled as she imagined their reactions.

She did try to set up a FaceTime call with both of them. She wanted to see if Hannah was okay after seeing her cry and just to catch up with the both of them. However, both of them said that the last week of school was keeping them busy and Hannah's father was having surgery so she had to help take care of him and Stephanie had to keep babysitting her brother all week so both of them were too busy to sit down and talk but promised they would try to FaceTime soon.

The two weeks flew by then they drove to Raven City to view their new house. It did make Kendall nervous to see Sterling Manor nearby but she reminded herself she never had to be near that place again and, if what Hannah told her was true, the ghost that had possessed her was long gone. She did keep up with her appointments with Dr. Young and those had been helpful.

She did love the new house. It was a three-story Victorian house that looked like it came straight out of a Tim Burton movie. It had fifteen bedrooms, four bathrooms, a living room that was bigger than both of her old bedrooms combined, a kitchen and dining room that was connected and huge, and there were multiple secret rooms she discovered as she explored the house with her parents.

She couldn't deny that she was excited about moving into this house; it seemed so cool and interesting and she couldn't wait to explore more of it. She wanted to try to see Hannah and Stephanie but she didn't have time because her parents wanted to get back before it got dark.

After viewing the house, her parents spent the next week hiring a moving company and transporting their belongings to the new house once everything was brought to the house, they spent the other week packing their belongings and getting the house set up.

The whole while, even as she was packing, she texted Stephanie and Hannah. She was able to finally FaceTime them and talked to them some and caught up to them. Hannah explained it was her father's health that had caused her to cry that one time Kendall had tried to talk to her and Stephanie was overwhelmed with schoolwork and babysitting. They did say once summer hit and they had more free time they would FaceTime.

Now it was almost the middle of June and they were officially moved into their new house. Kendall beamed as she saw all their stuff packed and decorated throughout the house and she knew she was going to feel right at home here.

Her parents were in the shopping center getting supplies so she figured that was the perfect time to surprise Hannah and Stephanie. She walked out the front door and paused on her porch when she noticed that a family was moving into the house right next to hers.

Cool, she thought to herself. Other new people in the neighborhood.

She saw it was a family of four: a man and woman, a girl who looked to be around twelve, and a boy around her age. They were standing in the yard, talking to the movers.

She paused as she got a good look at the boy. His skin was a beautiful shade of brown, had bright brown eyes, short black dreadlocks, and a tattoo of what looked like numbers on his hand.

She didn't know why but as she studied the boy, she thought of the dream she had when she saw the fox silhouette morph into the silhouette of a man. The dream flashed through her mind and she stared intently at the boy, wondering why the dream was suddenly important.

She shook her head at herself and quickly looked away before they caught her staring like a crazy person and walked over to her car. She opened the driver's side and glanced over at the family one more time before getting in. She straightened when she saw the boy was looking over at her and they made eye contact.

She smiled at him and waved, hoping to appear neighborly. He only gave her a small smile and then turned back to his family. She watched the family for a few more seconds then got in her car and backed out of the driveway. She wondered if he was going to be attending Raven City High School and if she would have any classes with him.

She wondered what he would be like, who that family would be like, and why she couldn't get that dream out of her head.
