An hour later, Asra and I head down a path and into the woods, with Faust in the foliage. The birds are tweeting and small rays of light come through on the trees' leaves. I watch Asra lead the way with joy in his footsteps.
"Someone's enjoying the view."
Asra's voice snap me out of my thoughts. I feel my cheeks heat up.
"Only if you weren't in the way." I teased.
He blinks out of shock and then gives me the sweetest smile ever. The leaves of the trees start falling as if on que. His arms open wide as he stands there peacefully, eyes closed. Wind dances around me, bringing leaves with it as if wanting me to dance with it.The wind whispers as it approaches Asra, raising his shawl slightly and his hair rising with the wind.
"He looks...beautiful..." I thought.
My ears start burning as Asra opens one of his eyes to look at me as the wind circles around him, allowing more leaves to fall from its branches, revealing sun kissing light. Asra's figure looks more ethereal with the light hitting his skin ever so gracefully, highlighting his caramel skin and making his eyes glisten with wonder.
He tilts his head and gives out a hand for me to take.
"Come on, Y/n. Listen to it." Asra said softly.
I slowly take his hand, also taking note of his warmth. Suddenly, the wind traps us in a soft vortex of leaves and petals. I watch as Asra holds me close and looks down at me.
"Close your eyes and listen to it." Asra calmly says, closing his eyes and breathing calmly through his mouth.
I close my eyes and calm myself. Listening to my breathing and rhythm of my heart. I can feel Asra's heart beat in unison with mine. I suddenly hear the clear tweeting of the birds, a woodpecker pecking through the wood, creatures running through the foilage, the smell of moss, wind whispeing in my ear and a faint sound of a flowing river and a howl. Calm magic of the forest engulfs me. A smile twitches on my mouth.
"Pure.. free.. one.." I murmured, enjoying the feeling of safety.
"Y/n, open your eyes." Asra said as I open my eyes to see Asra's purple intruiging eyes.
Something catches my eyes ahead of him. The wind slowly leaves and into the foilage, ruffling and shaking it on its path. The forest is somehow different now. Colors are dancing on each side of the forest, patterns appear and symbols glitter among the forest. Everything looks so magical and so beautiful...
"Wow..." I said out of breath.
"It's like the forest is awake to see you, Y/n."
I turn to look at Asra and see fondness in his eyes.
"It's beautiful." I said leaning into his chest.
"You're beautiful." I hear him say.
I look up at him, my cheeks and ear burning. I'm blushing..I'M BLUSHING!
Asra only smiles and tucks a piece of my hair. I can see pink tinting his cheeks. His thumb brushing slowly on my lower lip. He leans in closer with eyes closed. My heart beats faster as I realize what is going to happen. I lean in closer and close my eyes.
"You two."
A low grumbling voice startles the both of us, making Asra hold me closer and tighter. We look ahead of the path to see a dark and brooding man standing, with a wolf beside him. Asra loosens his hold on me as he walks towards Muriel.
"Muri~!" Asra whines as he hugs Muriel.
I watch as they hug and walk towards them. I see Muriel give me a faint smile and then turns to Asra with an annoyed look.
