"Bye, see you guys tomorrow." Nari closes the door of the car and bids her friends good bye.
"I'm home!" She yells so her mom can know she's back.
"I'm in the living room." She hears her mother's voice and heads that way.
"How was your day?" Her mother types away on her laptop.
"Same as always." She peers over her mother's shoulder to see the laptop screen.
Her mother stops typing and turns to her. "Nari, there's something that I have been hiding from you."
Nari frowns in confusion. "What are you talking about mom?"
Her mother takes a deep breath and begins to talk. "I've been seeing someone for two months now. I know, I should've told you from the start but I wanted to get to know him better first before I introduce him to my daughter."
"I understand mom, no need to feel guilty. I would have probably done the same thing if I was in your shoes." She hugs her mother to assure her. "I'm glad that you found someone though."
The duo breaks the hug and smile at each other. "Thank you. Oh, he invited us for dinner tonight. If you don't want to go tonight we can reschedule."
"No, it's fine. I'll take a nap." Nari kisses her mother's cheek and leaves to her room.
She takes off her uniform and changes into something more comfortable to sleep in. She jumps on her bed and immediately falls asleep because of exhaustion.
Nari wakes up because someone is shaking her. Opening her eyes she sees her mother. "It's time to get ready."
"Ok mom." She gets up and massages her temples.
"Are you nervous?" Her mother asks.
"A little." Nari smiles cutely to let her mother know that she'll be ok.
"I left out a little detail." Nari nods so she can continue. "He has four sons, they are way older than you."
Surprisingly Nari smiles at the revelation. She always wanted siblings, she really doesn't care if it's not by blood at least she'll have big brothers to rely on.
Her mother leaves to get ready also. Nari showers and does her makeup and hair before getting dressed. She smiles in satisfaction at her face and hair. The most challenging part, choosing an outfit.
After minutes of choosing she finally finds something that she finds comfortable yet formal and beautiful. A blood red draped corset dress that compliments her curves. She pairs it with a pair of black Christian Louboutin.
Grabbing her purse she heads downstairs where her mother is waiting for her.
"He's outside waiting for us. Are you excited?" Her mother intertwined their hands.
Nari nods and the two walks out looking elegant as ever. When Nari sees the man, rich is written all over him. From his head to his toe.
He opens the car door for them and also enters. "It's nice to finally meet the famous Yun Nari." The man smiles at her through the rear view mirror.
"Nice to meet you too..." She trails off because she doesn't know his name.
"Min Young-Ki." He smiles at her.
"Nice to meet you Mr. Min." She slightly bows her head.
It seems like he lives far cause it took them thirty minutes to reach his house. When Nari exit the car and her eyes land on the house- no mansion her eyes widen and her mouth was agape.
Her mother chuckles at her reaction and closes her mouth. "A fly might invite itself in."
Her mother took her hand and they follow Mr. Min inside. Once Nari sees the interior of the house she becomes more amazed. Inside feels like heaven to her, its the best house she's ever seen in her life.
"I'll go call my sons, you girls have a seat in the living room." Mr. Min kisses her mom; YeRim and left for upstairs.
The duo makes themselves comfortable and patiently wait for Young-Ki to come back.
"How did you meet him mom?" Nari suddenly ask.
Her mother smiles before she responds. "I didn't expect that question but, we met at the mall."
Nari nods as if she understands. She was going to ask something else but she shuts her mouth because she sees Young-Ki coming back downstairs with four other men behind him.
She stands up and bows when they've reached in front of her. She's about to greet them but she stops when she sees the look on they're faces. They looked not so pleasant.
"Boys meet Ms. Yun and her daughter." Young-Ki tells.
"So, what do you boys do for fun?" YeRim tries to build up a conversation during dinner.
They look at her and then back at their plates. She awkwardly smile and continue to eat. Mr. Min clenches his jaws because his sons are embarrassing him.
"Dad I'm done, I'll take my leave." One after the other the boys left to their rooms.
"I'm sorry for their behaviors." He apologizes to the mother and daughter.
"It's ok." Nari assures him though she feels bad for how they're acting.
Nari pouts because ever since she wanted siblings, she got her wish but they're not acting good towards her and her mother. Maybe they'll come around soon.
