I was on the phone with Eddie when I heard a knock on my door.
"Eddie hold on."
I walk to the door and open it to see the Prima family.
"Hi Mr. and Mrs. Prima...what do you need?"
"We need you to babysit. We forgot to ask last minute, we have a dinner to go to. We will pay double what we usually would." Mr. Prima smiled.
"Ok."
"Thankyou Y/n. Here's Joshua's backpack filled with some snacks, books, and his cars. Bye." Mrs. Prima ran off with mr. Prima.
"Come on in Joshua. You can go watch tv if you want." I smile.
"Ok!" Joshua ran off giggling.
I go back to the phone.
"Eddie? You still there?"
"Yeah I'm here."
"So I have bad news. You can't come over tonight." I sigh.
"Babe why??" Eddie whined.
"Because the Prima's just dropped off their son Joshua for me to babysit while they go to a dinner."
"Ok I'll be right over." Eddie's voice grew chipper.
"Eddie wait." I get cutoff by Eddie hanging up the phone.
Thirty minutes later
Me and Joshua sit on the couch watching cartoon when I hear a knock on the door. I get up and answer it. Eddie stands with a small grin on his face.
"Hey babe."
"Hey Eddie. You didn't have to come. Nothing fun is happening except a 6 year old and a 18 year old watching cartoons."
"What do you mean? That sounds great." He laughs sarcastically.
He walks in and I close the door. He looks around the room for a second.
"What?"
"You see any 6 year olds around here?" Eddie winked.
"No." I laughed.
Eddie pulled me into his chest and leaned his kiss against mine. My hands move to his hair and he moans quietly.
"Y/N WHERE ARE YOU?!?" Joshua yells.
We jump out of the kiss.
"Coming Joshua." I lead Eddie into the living room.
"Joshua this is Eddie, my boyfriend." I smile.
"Hi buddy." Eddie grins.
"Hello. Now y/n I want to watch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles." Joshua stubbornly pouts his lip.
Eddie jumped on the couch right next to Joshua.
"I love that cartoon." Eddie snickers.
"You do?" Joshua says excitedly.
"Yeah."
"Cool! Me too." Joshua giggles.
I smile at the image in my head. Eddie and I had always talked about starting a family, but we didn't think too much about it. I had always thought that Eddie would be a good dad.
"Hey Joshua, you hungry?" I ask.
"Yeah! Can you make Mac n cheese?" Joshua asks still paying attention to the tv.
"Yeah."
I head to the kitchen grabbing all the extra ingredients for the mac n cheese. I feel a pair of arms snake around my waist. I smile to myself.
"Eddie."
"It's not Eddie, it's Steve." Eddie says with a jock like voice.
"Oh well steve...we shouldn't do this here. Eddie's in the other room." I sarcastically say seductively.
"What!" Eddie yells.
"I'm kidding Eddie." I laugh.
I turn to face Eddie so his hands are on my hips.
"That wasn't funny." He says.
"It was a little funny." I giggle.
Eddie pouts and I suddenly feel bad. I take his face into my hands and kiss his nose.
"Hey, you're better than steve."
"I know." He mumbles.
"Now I have to cook lunch."
"Can I help?" He smiles.
"Maybe."
"EDDIE!!!!!! COME BACK!!!!" Joshua yelled.
I laugh as Eddie sighs and mumbles to himself.
"Nevermind."
