Chapter 15 : Sorry

Celestia's POV

"I hope the friendship of the three of us lasts. No, matter how many times we fight. We won't fight yet but the days will come when we will fight over stupid things, but hopefully the three of us will be strong. And we will grow old together, until death do us part,"

I held the camera while watching what we should have promised video back then as I stood in my open locker. My speech and Diana's ended until the camera was passed to Viola and all she could do was stare until she lowered the camera.

That's why she didn't say anything because she already had a grudge against us. Is that so? How unbelievable. I shouldn't have said before that I hope we get along after we fight in the future. I'm done being too kind. Otherwise, what happened to me would happen again that I relied on nothing.

"How's your whatsoever called 'trio', Cel?" Becky, my only friend here at Slitore, came up to me as she opened her locker and put away the books she was carrying. I fall silent as she closes her locker and examines me. "Don't tell me your trio has sunk? I thought the three of you would be as strong as you said while I was your back-up friend?"

I gave her a frown. "Are you mad at me?"

She force a giggle. "No. Why would I? I'm just concern. Look. How many times have I warned you that trio never works. In short, in every trio, there's always a duo," she stated as I just stared at her. "Spill the tea. Who is the duo? Did any betrayal take place?"

"Becky I'm sorry if I misunderstood you but, why do you seem happy that we're shattered?"

"You want to know?"

I huffed in disbelief. "So you're admitting it?"

"Yes! Because you know why? I'm always your back-up friend while they're your primary!"

"I don't have primary friends because I try to treat the three of you equally!"

"W-well I don't seem to feel that you treat us equally because you always ditch me. Just like before. Tell me what's bothering you again? Going back together with your friends while I do math homework on my own?" she interrogate as I shut my eyes, taking a deep breath. "You promised me we would do a group study!"

"Becky you know nothing! This is urgent okay?!" I fumed reason that the passing students fell silent while at the corner of my eye there were gazes at us. The two of us stared at each other as she looked down reason for me to settle down.

Damn. Did I really make her feel like she was just my back-up friend? But what I'll do is urgent. I had to visit Diana in the hospital after I found out this morning that she had an accident. A lumberjack allegedly found her and took her to the hospital until it reached to aunt Lydia. And that's not all. This morning while I was waiting for Becky outside the shop, it made me froze when I heard that someone was planning to kidnap Diana. I plan to take it to auntie at the hospital.

I sighed. "Let's talk about this later,"

"Yeah. Lagi ka namang ganiyan eh." she rolled her eyes as she turned her back on me and walked away down the hallway amid countless students.

"Becky," I mentioned her name but she just ignored me until she disappeared from my sight. Great. Looks like life is getting tough lately.

"Are you really okay?" Alistair asked the third time. "Your face can tell. I'm just worried,"

While walking in town, I couldn't help but smile as tingles wrapped around my chest. It was dismissal time from in our afternoon meeting at school and while I was on my way to the hospital, I suddenly met him and he offered to take me there. I was a little nervous with mixed joy when he approached me. Good for him, making sure I'm okay.
