"What will they think of me? Will they kick me out?" Heras thought as he was walking to the dining room. His face had a worried gaze. He was glancing around the room, trying to avoid eye contact with the servant.
"Don't worry too much," the servant told Heras. "I know he'll be happy to see you, and you'll be too."
Heras walked with nervousness, but gained some happiness upon hearing the servant's words.
As they reached the dining room, Heras and the servant were met by the royal family of Serenno, who were surprised at Heras' appearance. Heras bowed before the royal family to pay his respects to them.
The royal family consists of the count, Etem Dooku, a man of sixty-nine years of age with fair skin, gray hair and beard and was wearing a tan robes and trousers of a noble, accompanied by the traditional cape of a count and dark brown boots, his wife Countess Kathilnah, a woman in her mid-50s with salt-and-pepper hair fixed in an elaborate hairstyle and with a crown adorning her head and forehead and had lighter complexion and sapphire blue eyes unusual for a Serennian and was wearing a dark blue and white dress, and their two children who are fraternal twins who are currently at the age of twenty-three, their daughter, Lady Ethilnah who had her mother's lighter complexion, black curls tied neatly into a bun while some parts were braided, her father's brown eyes and was currently wearing a red surcoat with wide sleeves and gold floral designs and belt, with a white kirtle inside, and a forehead crown less elaborately than her mother's was placed on her head, and their son and heir, Count Kennler, who had his father's fair complexion and dark brown hair from his youth and his mother's sapphire blue eyes and was wearing a brown robes in a similar fashion to his father's.
Heras slowly moved the chair and sat down on the extra chair from the dining table.
Although the count's eyes were warm and welcoming towards Heras, he still looked away from his royal companions as he was eating his food.
Etem looked concerned for Heras as he saw him looking backwards from them, as the countess shared looks with her husband.
"It looks like I've noticed something strange about that man staying in our palace," Etem said with deep concern to his wife. "How long has he been staying here?"
The royal children, however, were busy eating their lunch, and were confused about the stranger and the attention that their parents were giving to him.
"Why is he here?" Kennler asked his sister who was turning her fork around at the pasta.
"Well, try asking Mother or Father," Ethilne replied to her brother, shrugging. "There is a possibility that the stranger does not want to communicate with any of us."
