In the planet of Yirrim, Zena Harik, along with the other ranger survivors, were coaching the remaining cadets, in the hopes of rebuilding the Rangers organization after the Ignominy infiltration and Azotha's betrayal.

Although three years had passed after the invasion, the events that occurred during that time deeply hurt Zena's feelings. Donotyr Lawsma is now in exile on another planet after escaping the attempted humiliation that the bullies tried to inflict on him. Vinith and Deng's fates were uncertain. Her colleagues and companions dropped like flies. She and her remaining colleagues were forced to live in exile and had the responsibility to rebuild the organization was pressured by them as the remaining members were loyal to the cause. If it hadn't been for Fugmius' death, none of these would have happened.

Unlike Fugmius' technique of training the cadets one by one, Zena had adopted a technique that all cadets train together while she was facilitating all of them at once so that they all learn at the same time.

Zena, the other rangers, and cadets were already staying in a new headquarters under construction.

Zena's brown hair was fastened by a bun concluding with a braid descending on her back. Her black-and-gray uniform had changed since the past three years. It now consisted of a black cape with a hood that Zena could fasten on.

One of the cadets, a light pink skinned and lilac-eyed Zeltron named Tereali Mixhove, was struggling in her training as she often missed the remotes needed to be shot.

"Tereali, you can do it," Zena advised the cadet. "If you are having difficulty with your training, don't give up. We are doing it for Yirrim."

After many tries at shooting the remotes, Tereali was able to shoot one remote, much to her joy and Zena's pride.
