Many months passed and gradually, Heras' memories of what his life was like before he was brought into Yirrim. Donotyr Lawsma was not his real name, neither was Heras Barirn.

Heras remembered that he used to be a Jedi Knight before, with a Padawan on training. His life was split into "before" and "after" when he encountered the Ignominies in a war. He discovered that the real reason he did not become an official ranger, even as he hoped, was because he was already a Jedi and that the job really was not for him.

Heras realized that the Ignominies erased his memories before he was imprisoned and abused. He wanted to know if the count knew anything about his past, his real name and his identity.

Now, he is currently waiting for Count Dooku for his daily training in using a lightsaber. When the count arrived, he began to train Heras. Sometimes he is taught to use the Force, a concept he had never known for the past six years.

When it comes through training by fencing, the count still defeated Heras, even though Heras was slowly improving on his lightsaber skills because Etem was one of the best lightsaber duelists of their time.

After the training, Heras asked the count, "Do you know anything about my life before or what my real name is?"

"Wait, I'll answer it later. I will still teach Ethilne," Etem replied.

At lunch, the royal family noticed a change in Heras. If he used to avoid them, he now eats his lunch with them.

"It seems like I just noticed that Heras came with us to eat," said Countess Kathilnah. "What happened to him and he suddenly changed and got along with us?"

"Well, it's all thanks to the count," Heras replied with a smile. It was the first time that Heras smiled for the past three years.

"Will you still marry Rodas Borgin?" Kennler asked jokingly to his twin sister.

"Well, I don't think so," Ethilne replied. "There is a possibility that I might like Heras Barirn. He looks kind, though."

Heras froze with shock upon hearing Ethilne's words.

"Do you want me to answer your question this morning?," Etem asked Heras.

"I don't want to, I'm ashamed that your family might hear my personal secrets," Heras replied.

"All right, all right, father, just answer his questions," Ethilne said to her father. "I don't mind what those secrets are."

The count cleared his throat. "Heras, your father, Josegavi Legabeck and I were friends when we were Jedi. He happily recalled to me about his family in Lath, especially his children. Josegavi had five children and wanted his eldest son, Wintrev, who was the only Force-sensitive, to be a Jedi with me as his mentor. He looks very much like his eldest son, as he had described. He had his father's brown hair and eyes, similarly to yours."

Then, Etem went to Heras' place and whispered, "You are the eldest son of Josegavi and your real name is Wintrev Legabeck." The count returned to his seat after whispering to Heras the secret, with Heras left shocked afterwards.
