Start of the Competition

Chapter 32

Time passed and you had some months until the spring tournament started.
In these months, you would meet up with your friends and practice with them. By now you had acquired a quite deep understanding for blocking and receiving.

Therefore you were on the way to Tokyo.
The bus was surprisingly quiet, as everyone was sleeping.
You were awake and stretched your arms, seeing if anyone was awake 'Pft- everyone's tired, hmm' you chuckled.
Sitting back down, you took some snacks out of your bag and ate, watching the landscape.

Hours later Karasuno arrived.
'Woah is that big building ours!?' Nishinoya and tanaka yelled seeing a large hotel, after they got out of the bus.
Ennoshita sighed and showed them the actual hotel they would stay in.
'It's still great!' The excited boys yelled.
Chuckling you threw your arms around their shoulders 'right! nice and cozy, let's go inside!'.
Your teammates nodded and coach ukai checked in with Takeda sensei.
It became dark slowly, and you girls decided to take a bath together.
As yachi and shimizu went inside you came right after.
'Haahh' you sighed enjoying the hot water.
'Wah y/n-chan you're so pretty!' Yachi nearly yelled.
'Stop it, you're a Beauty' you giggled.
'She's right though, and  y/n you're really toned' Shimizu smiled warmly.
You rested your arms on the edge and closed your eyes 'a lot of training haha'.
After that Yachi became curious why shimizu only wore stockings, and so the conversation led to her track experience back in junior high.
While Shimizu told her story, You and yachi admired her.
And after reminiscing about the past, the three of you went to bed.
'Good night!' You smiled and pulled the blanket over you. 'You too!' Both said and fell asleep.

The next morning, Karasuno went to the large competition.
'This is even bigger than I thought' you and your teammates gasped.
'We did it! Now...let's start moving forward!' Daichi smiled nervously.
And you all nodded and walked through the large building.

Teams were left and right and hinata tripped against nishinoya, who was about to drop on a girl.
But the girl held him up just in time 'are you okay?'.
'Great reflexes' you smiled.
'Kanoka?! It's been a while' tanaka said to her surprised and smiling.
'R-Ryu chan!' She blushed.
'Y-you know her?' Nishinoya looked at his friend, shocked.
'Yeah she is one of niiyama's wing spikers' and tanaka suddenly blushed.
'So he finally realised she was a girl?' Suga sighed from the outskirts.
'Haha thats funny though' you chuckled throwing your arm around asahi and suga.
'Yeah kind of' daichi sighed.

Afterwards Komori came to greet kageyama.
'So even kageyama knows people?' Suga asked.
'Oh my, yeah, he's from our training camp, I'll come back soon' you said and went to the two other boys.
' l/n san' komori smiled.
'Komori!....-' you squealed and hugged him.
'L-l/n san?!' Komori blushed and you continued talking with him and kageyama.
'Oh where is sakusa?' You asked kageyama.
'He's there, he doesn't really like crowds'.
Looking into the direction he pointed, you smirked at sakusa.
'Haha I'll go to him' you chuckled and kageyama nodded.
Going over, you bumped him gently 'what are you doing?'.
'Ah y/n, that's...none of your b-business' he slightly blushed and covered his face with a cap.
'Haha come on' you slightly pushed him.
And you continued teasing him, until you heard loud hey.
'Oh my it's bokuto, later sakusa' you smiled.
He sighed 'Later' and looked to Bokuto and akaashi.

Bokuto just (talked) to tsukki and you giggled 'he became even taller, that beanstalk'.
Bokuto turned around and saw you.
'Y/n!' He smiled and hugged you.
'Haha Let's have a match soon' you giggled patting his back.
'Yep i Hope we do' akaashi smiled pulling your arm slightly to him.
You giggled and nodded.
And you looked around and saw nekoma, they've just ran into your team.
'Haha the kuroo, daichi duo' you laughed seeing both glaring at each other.
Slowly walking over to them with bokuto, you heard 'country bumpkins'.
'Oi kuroo, are you talking behind my back?' you fake cried.
'Y/n!' Nekoma smiled.
'Hey! So I'm a country bumpkin?' You asked kuroo.
He smirked 'yeah'.
You chuckled and slapped his arm a bit on the hard side 'don't regret what you said'.
'Ugh y/n! Stop that's foul' he groaned but chuckled at the same time.

'An announcement to all teams! Please head to the main court, Thanks'
'Laterz' you smiled at your Friends.
'See you y/n' they said in unison.
You chuckled and waved to them 'that's funny'.
And you turned around pulling hinata in your arms.
'Are you nervous?' He asked shivering and holding onto your arms.
Chuckling you spoke 'a bit, but not as bad as you haha'.
'Y/n you're mean'
So you patted his head walking out with karasuno.

'Miyagi Boys volleyball team' the announcer said listing the different Volleyball Teams.
(All Volleyball teams were said to come out on the field after being announced.)
A Staff member of the tournament came running and told the announcer 'a girl, l/n y/n is in their team as well!'.
'Ah we made a mistake, l/n y/n is a female player!!' He said.

And you blew up as your team walked in 'oh my god why did he have to announce my full name!!'.
'Y/n you'll became famous!!' Hinata smiled.
'N-no this is really embarrassing' you held your head feeling the many gazes.
'It is' tsukkishima burst laughing.
'Shut it' you said.

In the audience: 'Shes embarassed' terushima said smirking and the guys around him questioned who he meant.
'He doesn't mean y/n right?' Oikawa whispered to iwaizumi.
Iwaizumi shrugged his shoulders and looked to his side seeing ushijima and tendou 'You two are also here?'.
Ushijima looked at them 'yeah, y/n is playing'.
Tendou just laughed and nodded.
'Well me too' oikawa huffed 'Oi kyotani, we know you're there' and he yelled seeing Kyotani in a hat and mask.
Kyotani turned around embarassed 'argh just leave me be!'
Iwaizumi sighed 'let's concentrate on the game'.

Getting in line you saw atsumu and his team.
'Atsumu!' You whisper yelled to him.
And he turned to your voice smiling brightly.
You gave him a thumbs up, looking determined.
He chuckled 'y/n lets meet afterwards'  and you nodded, so he turned back to listening to the referee.
'Is she the girl you've talked about?' His brother asked looking at you.
'Yeah, I'll introduce you after' atsumu smiled and continued listening.
'Hmm okay' osamu nodded.

After the referee finished talking, the teams had time to warm up and your team went to a quiet spot for awhile, afterwards moving to the main hall.
And as hinata searched for something he figured the bag wasn't his 'this isn't my bag!'
'What do you mean?' You asked worried.
'Shoot I think a woman confused yours with her sons' suga said.
And tsukki laughed ‚Pft only you get in trouble'
But shimizu stepped forward ‚I'll get it don't worry!'
'Really, t-thank you senpai!'
So shimizu began running.

Your match against tsubakihara was soon starting and shimizu came back quickly.
'Thanks senpai!!' Hinata bowed thankfully.
'No problem, the game didn't begin yet?' She asked.
And you shook your head 'not yet'.
Shimizu sighed relieved and sat down catching her breath.

Atsumu came over and pulled you to the side 'y/n lets talk, I want to introduce you to my brother'.
