"shit ion know man, you could check in the back. he be all over." i heard muffled. man, i could really care less if someone walked through that door right now. the door opened and there stood vada.. and damn did she look good. it's the most simple outfit, but she could pull it off.

"hey." i sighed. i went over to the chair and sat in it. no one was there, so why not. "hey." he said. his attention was turned to his phone. i didn't mind much. i let my eyes roam the room.
as much as i've kinda been in here, i've never actually looked at the place. not like there's nothing much to look at. i mean, there's a shelf with cereal boxes. then there's other shit.
"what's up?" ashtray mumbled. he was looking straight at me. i shrugged my shoulders. "just got nothin to do today." i laid my arms on the small table in front of me. "and i was hoping you would hang out with me today." i added.
"whatchu tryna do? i aint into dumb shit." he leaned back, stretching. i leaned back as well, but just to slouch. "i don't know."
he was thinking. you could tell he was thinking because he started staring hard at the wall behind me.
"i do gotta go to this carnival tonight." he looked back at me. "i heard about that." i sat up. i was probably already gonna go. "you wanna come with?" he asked. now if i go with ashtray, that means i would practically be bailing on maddy. maddy has cassie though, so, "sure."
