Dancing with Belly was probably one of the most awkward positions I have ever been in. The girl had little to no rhythm at all. I would either step on her toes or she would step on mine. She also had to be the one who spun every time when it came to that part of the dance.

The dancing teachers were giving us super weird glances each time they came near us. It was quite annoying to say the least. I know we were supposed to find dates before the ball, but I don't think that was going to be the case for me.

"Did you ask Cam yet" I asked Belly out of the blue, but I had a feeling I already knew the answer.

"I-uh ... no I never asked him" She said a little shamefully, and rightfully so! She was probably thinking about how she almost kissed Conrad last night, and what her plans were moving forward.

"Listen if I were you" I whispered looking around to see who was near "I would make a decision soon before things get even more messy than they already are"

I fake smiled at the end of my sentence because Nichole passed us by. Belly was about to say something when Nichole was far enough away, but then the sophisticated music changed. I looked over to see Jeremiah with a huge grin on his face.

"M'lady" he said, coming over to me and bowing. He then stuck his hand out for me to grab and we started dancing to "So Pretty" by Reyanna Maria.

"Jeremiah" I said with a tint of red in my cheeks. He then started really busting some moves which made me laugh. "Stop"

He grabbed my hands and started bringing them over his shoulders. He could sense I was nervous, but wanted me to have a good time. So he then put his hands on my waist and guided them to sway. We then fell into a rhythm and the attention didn't seem to bother me anymore. The circle around us was hooting and hollering.

"What is going on here? Alexa stop! Jeremiah Fisher, why aren't you at the pool?"

"We had a code brown. Yeah, we lost the keys to the chemical closet."

"There you go" she said, throwing the keys to him.

"Thanks. Catch ya later Ray! See ya Bells." Jeremiah said, winking at me and saluting towards Belly before making his break back towards the pool.

Once Jeremiah left, Conrad snuck in. He waved towards Belly but Nichole thought it was for her so she started waving back to him. Belly started scratching the back of her head to try and play it cool, but was kinda failing miserably. Like I said before ... messy.

I was making my way towards the country club's pool when I noticed two girls making their way up to Jeremiah and Steven. Against my better judgment I started walking towards them to try and hear what they were talking about.

"Steven. Can we please get two slushies?" The girl asked in a fake perky tone "That was the most fun waltz rehearsal, like, in the history of waltz rehearsals. You came just in time. Your girls were failing miserably with each other."

"You know what? They're both pretty good dancers. The waltz is just dumb" Jeremiah said sticking up for us which made me smile to myself.

The girls were dumbfounded by Jeremiah's coldness so once they got their drinks they quickly made their way away.

"What was that about? What's their deal?" Steven questioned

"Well, uh, Gigi wants a boyfriend and, uh, Dara bit me once." Jeremiah said in a joking tone which made Steven laugh "Yeah, it's a long story. Want to get out of here?"

"I can't" Steven said in disappointment, and got back to work.

I took that as my opportunity to make my way over. I jumped onto the barstool which was a hassle due to my shortness but I managed.

"What's up shorty?" Jeremiah teased as he watched my struggle.

"Oh shut up!" I said playfully, stealing one of his fries. "That was quite the performance you put on back there Mr. Fisher"

"Well I give all the credit to my dance partner" He said smiling over at me which made me blush. He then turned towards me and grabbed the middle of my seat so I did the same. "Sooo ... I was thinking of revoking my no balls rule"

I know he was trying to be serious but it was still funny. He rolled his eyes at my lack of professionalism in a serious situation.

"Well well well, who could have made you change your mind about that" I asked leaning towards him to sneak another fry.

"Oh you know some short little brunette" He said purposely not meeting his gaze

"Well I think this "short little brunette" would ask you under one condition" I said intriguing his interest "If you take her on a midnight drive tonight"

"That can be arranged" He said in a cocky tone

"Mhmm sounds like a plan then"
