King Steve and the Freak ~~ A steddie fic <3

D&D - Part 1

"But you go to all Lucas' games"
"Only the big ones"
"This is a big one Eddie's been planning the campaign for months"
"Do you think I want to go and hang out with Eddie the freak Munson?"
"Your just watching it won't kill you"
"You might even like it" Mike backed up his friend Dustin for ten thousandth time. Dustin had wanted Steve to watch them play D&D for months he seemed to be under the illusion that it would make Steve want to learn how to play. That was never going to happen.
"Ok, ok I'll come to this game and this game only"
"Yesss thank you I accually think you'll enjoy it"
"I highly doubt that and if I get bored I'm going straight home" said a reluctant Steve as he rolled his eyes. this was going to be hell. he couldn't be botherd with any of Dustins nerdy stuff especially dungeons and dragons it bored him to the death but Dustin made a fair point he had been to every one of lucas' basketball games to watch him sit on the bench for an hour. But at least he could be invested in the games D&D was just a load of fantasy mumbo jumbo lead by Eddie.

Steve wasn't as bored as he thought he'd be. He had expected to have made some dumb excuse to leave by now but, two hours into what would usually be the most confusing and boring experience of his life had gone by extremely fast. Surprisingly it was Eddie Munson that had made that happen. Never in a million years would he have imagined this but he was mesmerised by the way Eddie played the game. He was beautiful, the way he was so indulged in the game he had a certain passion that left Steve accually interested and engaged in the game. He could tell how long Eddie had been preparing for this campaign and leaving would just be disrespectful.

-time skip-

Steve's mind was quickly snapped way from his thoughts by a loud cheer, he saw dustin hug Erica.
"So Harrington how was that. It must have been incredibly boring." Eddie said as he made his way over to Steve's corner of teh small room.
"Not as bad as I thought it would be. Dustin said they usually lasted longer." Steve said as he got up from his chair stretching
"It was a six hour campaign qnd you said you'd leave after an hour"
"I was invested in... the storyline I guess" Steve mumbled shocked at how quickly flustered he was after a short conversation with Eddie. "I better get going I'm tired"
"Will you be coming back next week, it's Mike's campaign." Eddie said surprising himself by his boldness and the fact that he diddnt completely Hate 'King Steve'
"I might, tonight was fun" responded Steve blushing slightly before he hurried out the door - Dustin and Mike following him in the hopes of a lift home.
