"Hi!"
"Hello?"
"Your here!"
"Yes I am?"
"Great I need to talk to you" responded Steve as he paced in front of the counter.
"What's up?" Robin could see her friend was stressed, it probably had something to do with Eddie. She knew how hard this was and really didn't want Steve going through it alone.

"And then he said it's a date? I don't know what to do. Clearly he didn't mean a date date we've only known each other for like 2 months and I don't like him like that." Steve finished explaining as he continued to pace the store.
"For somone who doesn't like him you do seem to think an awful lot about him. Also yesterday you told me you liked him?"
" I was confused and stressed yesterday and I still don't know if I actually do, why is this so complicatedddd" Steve finally sat beside the counter as Robin put her arm around him.
"It might seem confusing now but I do promise it gets easier."
"I don't want to like him. What if people at school find out, what if my parents found out?" Steve looked up at Robin with genuine fear in his eyes "I don't know what to do.."
Robin put her head on the counter to be level with Steve. "Do you like him?"
"Yea, I think I do, I'm mean, I really do."
"Do you want to be with him?"
He thought for a second "Yea" Steve smiled slightly.
"Even if some people will never accept you for it?"
"It scares me." Steve choked back tears
"It scares me to." Robin sat up and hugged her best friend "Then you have a date to get ready for.
"Shit! It's his half an hour." Steve got up grabbing his bag and running his hands through his hair and rushing towards the door. Before he left he turned back to Robin "Thanks,I couldn't ask for a better friend."
"Always here for you" responded Robin as she fixed some tapes Steve had nocked over on his way out.

40 minutes later
"Your late" said Eddie as he opened the trailer door to a very worried looking Steve.
Steve looked up and smiled at the metalhead "Only by 10 minutes, and I was working"
"Disgraceful!" Eddie smiled pretending to close the door before letting Steve in. "Welcome to my very fancy home sorry its a bit if a mess"
"It's great, cozy" Steve responded.
Eddie smiled faded a bit. He had always been a bit self conscious of where he lived and he knew Steve's family was kind of rich, what if Steve judged all the clutter.
Steve noticed the usual smile on Eddie's face flicker "No, I really do like it, it's diffret to my house but it's in a good way. My house is so big and empty and picture perfect I can't stand it there. I would prefer yo live somewhere cluttered especially with being home alone most of the time.
"Your home alone most of the time?"
"Yea my parents both work and they travel alot. They take me with them sometimes in the summer but this year they seem to have completely forgotten about me." Steve diddnt know why he was opening up to Eddie straight away it took months for him to tell Robin this.
Eddie gestured towards the couch and they both sat down. "I'm usually home alone aswell, my uncle works shifts and I hardly ever see him. Doesn't leave me anything either. Had to find my own way of making money."
"That's why you sell..." Steve had heard rumours that Eddie sold drugs but he diddnt want to assume.
"Drugs? Yea. I need some sort of income don't I?"
"Yea, you could just get a job though?"
Eddie smiled "I got a job in the icecrem shop in starcourt just before it burnt down. But that diddnt work out did it?"
