"No Steve I will not cover your shift for the third night this mont"
Steve didn't know why he was asking this again, we'll he did - he had been really enjoying going to the D&D games. He had been trying to persuade himself that he was just there to support Dustin but he really wanted to be friends with Eddie Munson. He couldn't explain it there was just something about him. Everything that he did was effortlessly perfect and he had this confident air about himself that Steve found extremely attractive. "Shit", Steve mumbled pushing that thought to the back of his head. He'd deal with that later.
"What" Robin looked up hearing her friend talk. "Still not covering that shift, why are you so invested in that game anyway. You hated it a couple of months ago,called it Dustins nerdy crap"
Steve responded, "it'd just really interesting, especially when it's Eddie's campaign. You can tell how much effort he puts into it. And Eddie is really patient with the younger ones. I find it insane how emerged they all get in that fantasy world aswell, especially Eddie his characters really great-"
"Ohh" said Robin with a smirk.
"Ohhh what?" Steve looked confused.
"Your going to see Eddie then huh?"
"No-- I'm going to support Dustin and Mike, I just think Eddie's good at the game."
"The game that you hate?" Robin questioned.
"No, I mean yes I'm there for my friends not Eddie" Steve stuttered in response.
"The monologue you just gave on the amazing Eddie and how it's so interesting when it's his campaign and how good his character is says otherwise... I think Stevie has a crushh" Robin teased.
Steve looked horrified " I'm straight, I like girls. I can see Eddie's attractive and all but like not attracted to him"
Robin laughed "he's attractive but your not attracted to him?"
"Yea, I mean if I were a girl I might.... Shit Robin I like him."
"Wow I'm so surprised"
"But I like girls?"
"You know you can like both right, it's called bisexuality?" Robin said, more serious now.
"You can? Still this makes everything so much more conplicated" Steves mind was running a hundred miles an hour this was too much to possess.
"It does but at least he's gay"
"Who's gay?" Steel frowned
"I'm going to let you figure that one out yourself. My shifts over now, do you stilp wnat me at cover yours?"
"No ist fine... bye" Steve responded as he sat down putting his head on the counter.
"Good luck!!"
Steve half-heartedly put his thumb up thankful for his friends support.
