It had been only quiet for a Friday night so Steve had had qlot of time to think - mostly about Eddie. He was so confused. All his life he'd just liked girls but he goes to a couple of stupid D&D games and that all changes. Because of Eddie.
"Eddie! Hello" Steve was pulled away from his thoughts. What was Eddie, the last person he wanted to see doing here. He was supposed to be at his game.
Eddie started browsing the shelves, taking time to read the description of what seemed like every movie they had. "You weren't at the game this evening"
"I wasn't, assuming it was a short one seeing as your here now."
"It was. Mike's campaign was amazing though, are you covering Robins shift?" Eddie responded
"No um supposed to work on a Friday, I couldn't get Robin to cover my shift again"
"You've been getting Robin to cover your shifts to watch our games. I assumed you just had free time, Dustin said you hated D&D"
"I do, I've been there to support him though." Steve lied
Eddie smiled "that's sweet,you know the kid worships you. He insisted you were the coolest. I'm a bit jealous to be honest"
"Your jealous of me?" Steve said, confused.
"Yea, the kids a dick but I love him. Anyway what's the actual reason you've been at the games, do you want to learn how to play?" Eddie was curious as to why Steve had been there but at this point he was just looking for an excuse to hang out with Steve. King Steve, who wasn't a complete duche and was almost as attractive as everyone made him out to be.
"No I don't wnat to learn. It has been fun hanging out with you though we never talked before Dustin."
"We could still hang out though, if you wanted-without the kids?"
"Yes! I'd love to" Steve responded, a little too enthusiastically.
"Ok then, It's a date my trailer tommorow. Its a cross from Max's " Eddie said trying to hide his excitement, it's a date? What was he thinking. Oh god he liked Steve Hartington. Like like liked him. The straightest guy ever but damn he was perfect in every way from the utter confusion every time he was flirted with to how great he was with Dustin and Mike and all. How caring he was, Eddie had noticed that he always put everyone else before him no matter what.
As Steve was closing up for the night ue noticed something lying on the floor. It was Eddie's handkerchief, he'd have to give that back to him tommorow. What was he going to talk about tommorow him and Eddie were so different. No way he was cancelling though he liked Eddie so much.
