I had woken up the next day before Jacob. With all press that had been stressing me out recently I decided I need to escape and get my mind off things. What better way to do that then to visit a local ice rink. I quickly went online and found one really close to jacob's house. I quickly got ready and woke Jacob up to let him know that I would be leaving for a bit. "I'm going to hit the ice for a bit just to relax" I say giving him a kiss on the cheek. "Ok have fun and text me when your done" Jacob said blowing me a kiss as I walked out his bedroom door. Sometimes I wonder how I got so lucky with a guy like Jacob.
When I arrived at the rink I found myself amazed at how beautiful the ice was and how welcoming the entire staff was to me. They all introduced themselves to me and showed me around the rink. Once I got on the ice and began to warm up, it felt as if all my worries melted away to nothing. I forgot about the stress of the press, I forgot about how I contemplated moving to LA, all the problems just floated away. When I was on the ice none of these mattered they weren't anything.
The ladies at ice rink were nice enough to take pictures of me while I was practicing on the ice today. I decided to post a few on instagram.

Just before I left the rink I sent Jacob a text letting him know I'd be coming back to his house. Once I made it back he welcomed me with a warm hug. "You're so cute and talented" he said whilst squeezing me. I laughed and just stared at him in complete aw. I couldn't believe that my once celebrity crush was now my boyfriend. "We have to talk" Jacob said looking me deeply on the eyes. "I know the press has been bothering you. I just want you to know nothing they say or do is going to change us. We are us at the end of the day they have nothing to do with it. We just let them talk and ignore it Rachel because I really really like you" He continued. I felt stress lift off my shoulder like that was exactly what I needed to hear to be alright. I pulled him into a tight hug "I had no idea but that was exactly what I need to hear at this exact moment thank you so much Jacob" I said. Somehow without even saying how I truly felt Jacob just always understood me. That's one of the many things I like about him.
Jacob and I soon realize we have to get ready for the outer banks season 2 premier that starts in a few hours.
