Song, Without Me by: Eminem

~~~~~~~~~~~
"How'd you learn how to fight like that?"
"My Mum. Pretty brutal woman." I replied.
"Hey, in case you didn't know, your eye is pretty swollen."
"Gee, thanks. I just thought the burning was because of that champagne I had earlier."
Diego scoffed. We saw Five and Lila outside. "Was that him?"
"Yeah."
We watched his car drive away.
"You know, I'm starting to get the feeling Dad's avoiding us."
"Hate to be the boring one, guys, but, uh, it's time to get the hell out of here." Lila said.
"When you say 'we,' who exactly are you referring to?" Five asked.
"Not a lot of ambiguity in that sentence, Five." I said.
"Listen, I don't know who you are or where you came from, but whatever it is, I'd advise you return posthaste."
"She's right, Five. We gotta get outta here."
"I just saved your life, you kinder-shit. If I hadn't stepped in, a that would be left of you is a blazer and some bloody socks."
"And that's the problem. You're too good. You ask too many questions. You know too much. And you fight like you know what you're doing. And where were you? I thought you had my back and then you went chasing after my brother."
"He's got a point."
"I was in the bathroom." I shrugged. "What, I can't go to the bathroom."
"You still went after Diego. He has his own girlfriend that can save him. You're in my way, now, Y/n. If I see you again, I will kill you."
I sighed. "What a gentleman."
I walked away. I took off my heels and walked on the sidewalk. I opened the hotel door and flopped on the bed.
"The plan blew up in our faces. Mum, I told you. You should've left me with Five and Lila with Diego." I scoffed.
"That wouldn't have worked out."
"Oh, yeah? And how would you know?"
"I have a feeling, you know?"
I scoffed and covered a pillow over my face. After a bit, I got changed. Lila walked in, "did you set me up?"
"Sweetie, really?"
"Those Nordic shitwits? You said they were commission. You said they were on our side. Well, I was in the process of executing our mission, my mission that you gave me, and they got in the way."
"She obviously did. You sat us both up." I said, sitting up on my forearms.
"Oh, my."
"And now our covers are blown. Five wants to kill me, and I don't know what the hell it is you're after." I said.
"Did you bring me what I asked for?" She asked Lila.
"Here." Lila dropped Diego's knife on the table. "Diego's knife."
"Sit."
"No."
"Yes, you're bleeding, and all that rage is bad for your complexion. Sit."
"Fine, but I'm not done being mad at you."
I scoffed and walked towards the door. "Where are you going?"
I ignored my Mum and closed the door behind me. I went into the hotel bathroom and stared at my black eye.
I teleported to the roof of Elliott's apartment. I saw Five teleport outside. I threw a rock next to him. He looked up and saw me.
"Son of a bitch."
I smirked and ran. I teleported off the roof and ran past Five. He gave me a confused expression on how I got down so fast.
I walked to an abandoned place and grabbed a bat and hit it against the door window. I reached my hand in and opened the door from the other side. I walked inside and closed the door behind me. I threw the bat to the side and ran down the hall, I heard Five's teleportation. I turned around to see Five.
"What's your game, N/n?"
"Who cares? You said if you saw me again, you'd kill me."
"Oh, I remember."
"Well, come on, big talker. Give me your best shot."
"Alright."
Right as hee teleported behind me, I spun and kicked him in the face. I chuckled and ran down the hall again.
He teleported in front of me. I dodged his kicks and punches. He kicked me back, I did a cartwheel on the table to get to the other side. As he was coming around, I disappeared.
"Didn't I say to give me your best shot?" I asked.
He turned around and saw me leaning on the wall, waiting for him. He had a confused expression. He teleported to me but I disappeared again to the other side.
I laughed, "I'm waiting."
He had, yet again, another confused glance. He grabbed a pipe and teleported to me, instead of hitting me, he hit the wall.
He turned around as I kicked him in the face again, he fell back and swiped me under my feet. Causing me to fall with him. He teleported on top of me and held his hand against my throat.
"You're better than I thought."
"And you are entirely average. You can come out now."
Mum walked out with a cigar in her mouth.
"Well done. You figured it out."
"Well, it wasn't very hard. She fights like every one of you commission drones."
"Hmm. No matter, here we are. Together again. I've gotta ask... Did you miss me, you little shit?"
I chuckled.
"You've got a good nose."
"You know, planting her as a stranger on a roof, taking advantage of me, that was smart."
"Well, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree."
"She's your--"
"Daughter. Yes. And she's my first and more valuable, so I'd appreciate it if you didn't crush her windpipe."
He groaned and teleported off of me.
Mum smiled. I stood up and leaned in towards Five. "I am so going to enjoy killing you someday."
"Have at it." He grinned.
"Y/n, darling, would you give us a minute, please?"
"Yes, the grown-ups need to talk."
"I'm half your--"
"Y/n."
I rolled my eyes and walked away. I hit a pot off the table as I walked away from them.
After a moment of them talking, I saw Five run his hands through his hair. I saw Five walking away, I waved goodbye with a snobby smile. He scoffed and rolled his eyes at me.
Later that night, Lila and Mum went out for bingo.
