Steven and Cameron sat in the living room with everyone else as Belly began to open her gifts.Cameron had spent the last few months scraping as much cash as she could to pay for Belly's gift. She was ecstatic to see the younger Conklin's reaction.

Belly sat on the coach as her mom handed her a gift first.She opened it and saw a pretty book sitting inside the bag, one she has been wanting for a while now.

"It's a rare book, I got it from a rare book dealer" Belly's mom spoke out

"Thanks mom it's amazing" Belly smiled

"Turn to the bookmark, it's your favorite poem" Laurel said

"Oh yeah" Belly smiled looking down at the book before looking up again "I remember Susannah teaching it to us and how she made us recite it.'For whatever we lose, like a you or a me.."

"It's always ourself we find at sea" everyone finished smiling

"Open mine" Susannah said, pushing her gift into Belly's hands. Belly gasped, opening her girt and looking at the beautiful pearls.

"Oh wow, there gorgeous Susannah," Belly exclaimed looking up at the women.

Susannah gave her a bright smile "My mom gave me pearls for my sweet 16, Cam has a pair and now you do too" Susannah finished smiling at her two girls

"Okay open mine you're going to love it!" Jeremiah spoke excitedly. He handed Belly a box and watched her reaction as she opened it

"Thanks Jere" Belly laughed at the boy

"It's a good luck charm, it's gonna help you pass your drivers test" Jeremiah said making Belly smile wider "Thank you, it's perfect"

"Think fast" Steven said, throwing his gift at Belly and hitting her right in the head.Cameron glared at the boy

"My bad Bells" the boy mumbled under his girlfriends glare

"Wow Steven" Belly started as she took out the Princeton sweatshirt he had got for her "I can't believe you actually spent money on me" she joked with the boy

"Yeah well I didn't want you stealing mine when I get in next year.Well that and Cameron made me get you something " he replied

"I didn't know you were still thinking about applying" Laurel spoke in confusion

"Yeah well, Cam and I have been talking about it so I'm gonna apply for some scholarships. Dad thinks I can get some financial aid.I don't know if i'll get in." he spoke

"You will" Cameron whispered confidently to the boy while squeezing his hand.Steven looked down at her and kissed her forehead

"Okay Conrad do you want to give Belly your present?"  Susannah spoke up looking at her eldest son

"Oh um.." Awkward silence and tension filled the room. "I forgot" the boy started making Belly's smile fall. More silence filled the room. "Umm I gotta go but i'll see you later" he said, getting up "Happy Birthday Belly" he gave a small smile before leaving the house.

The group kind of just sat there until Cameron jumped up filling the silence that Conrad left, and handed Belly a Green envelope, "Open it" she giggled in anticipation.Belly looked at the girl in her giddy state and opened the envelope with a gasp

"No way!" she squealed

"Yes way!" Cam squealed back as she was engulfed into a hug "Am I like the best person ever or what?"
