A couple nights passed and Cameron thought it was finally time to go back to her house. She felt a little nervous but she knew it had to happen at some point. When she stepped into the house it was silent, which was odd. Someone was always home.
The girl made her way into her room and jumped at the sight of someone laying in her bed.As she got closer she could make out who the person was,which caused her to have two different reactions.Part of her felt happy that Steven was lying in her bed when she was gone, it meant he really missed her.But the other like half her was still pissed at the boy, he wouldn't have to miss her if he didn't cheat on her.
She made her way over to the boy and gently shook his shoulder "Steven" she whispered. All she got back was a groan, so she tried again."Steven" she said a little louder.His eyes opened for a second before they closed,but then they snapped back open again and he quickly sat up.
"Cam" he said wide eyed "What are you doing here?" he questioned making the girl release a soft chuckle
"Well this is my room" she replied piercing her lips together
"Yeah no right,right" Steven replied, trying to play it cool. A second of silence passed by the two teens before the both spoke up
"I think we should talk"
"I'm ready to talk"
They both replied at the same time, Steven nodded and patted the bed right next to him signaling her to sit.
Steven was the first to speak."Listen Cam.I love you, you know that, I know that.Shit all of Cousin's probably knows that.And what happened with Taylor was a mistake.Once you left for the bathroom I waited ten minutes before I started to look for you.When I went upstairs I saw Taylor and asked her if she saw where you went.She led me to the bedroom and well you know the rest" he paused for a second trying to read her emotions
"Why did you kiss her? I thought we loved each other, you don't do that to the people you love Steven"
"I know, I know. But I didn't kiss her Cameron, I don't wanna kiss anyone except you. She kissed me and I was too shocked to pull her away.And that's my fault I know it." Steven grabbed the girls chin and made her look into his eyes
"You're are the only one I want to kiss and hug and fuck.I mean the day I met you was one of the best days of my fucking life Cam. Right next to the day you and I shared our first kiss together. I'll never love someone as much as I love you.And I know i'm not the perfect guy, I actually really hate myself for making you cry and breaking your trust. But when- when I'm with you I-i don't hate myself. I love being around you" he huffed, tears flooded both of the pairs eyes as Steven continued to talk
"I wanna grow old and get married and have a bunch of kids with you because to me, to me that sounds like heaven."
"Steven" Cam interrupted
"And I know you're probably gonna break up with me and of course I'm gonna be heartbroken and angry, but if that makes you happy then do it."
"Steven" Cam tried again but she was ignored for the second time
"Because I just want you to be happy, and if that's not with me then I'll just have to accept that.Because you mean the fucking world to me-"
Steven was cut off when Cameron leaned in and placed a kiss on his lips.He was shocked at first but quickly recovered by cupping her face with his hands. Cam deepened the kiss, moving forward to crawl into his lap.When they broke apart their foreheads rested against one another.
"I love you too Steve" Cam replied making the boy's heart skip a beat.Not only did she still love him but she also called him Steve again.
"And I'm sorry for saying I hated you.I didn't, not even a little bit, i-i was just pissed at what happened.I'll always love you." She whispered
"And I'm sorry about what happened with Taylor.It'll never happen again, i'll never even look at another girl again." Steven rambled making Cam smile. She embraced the boy resting her head in between his neck and shoulder.Steven quickly responded wrapping his arms around her tightly, he was afraid if he didn't she might leave.
"So does this mean we still together?" Steven questioned nervously.He didn't want to be with anyone else except her.Cameron didn't respond for a while making Steven's nerves pick up
"Yeah, I don't wanna be with anyone else.Do you?" she whispered
"Not a chance" he whispered back.Steve fumbled with his shirt pocket before pulling out the promise ring Cam had threw at him. Cameron smile reached her ears as he placed the ring on her finger
"I'm never letting you go ever again" Steven spoke wrapping his arm around her
The two stayed in that position until Cameron fell asleep.Steven softly laid back and turned off the lights.One of his arms stayed wrapped around the girl while the other pulled the quilt over the two.
Steven placed a kiss on her head while holding her tightly against his chest.
"I love you" he whispered to the girl before falling asleep himself.
