Cameron sat in between Steven's legs as him, Conrad, and Jeremiah played video games. She scrolled through her Tiktok liking funny videos and stuff she found intriguing.

"See you guys later" Belly's voice could be heard making the older teens turn around.She was all dressed up and had a bright smile on her face

"Wow Bells you look gorgeous, maybe I picked the wrong Conklin" Cameron laughed as Steven scoffed at her.

"Cam's right Belly" Jeremiah spoke, ditching his controller and walking towards the girl. He grabbed her hand and gave her a spin "You look hot"

"Stop flirting with my sister" Steven said to Jere before putting his attention on his girlfriend "both of you. But there right you do look good"

"So are you driving with us or are you going with my mom and Laurel?" Jeremiah questioned

"Umm actually I'm going to the drive in with the guy from that bonfire, Cameron," The younger Conklin stated confidently, making Cam smile.

"Aww my name twin, tell him I said hi" Cam laughed

Belly glanced at herself in the mirror before saying goodbye to the teens once more. Cameron turned towards Conrad whose knuckles were white from gripping the controller so hard.

"Damn Connie, the controllers not going anywhere" she whispered to the boy smirking as he glared at her.

"I'm so bored," Cameron sighed as she and the boys sat on the couch. She loved Laurel so much but this was not how she planned to spend her summer nights.Steven wrapped his arm around her shoulder pulling her into his chest.

"I know baby"

Conrad sat miserably on the couch, his mood seemed to go down when Belly left for her date with Cam Cameron, "Can we go somewhere?".The boy was slightly buzzed as he spent the night sulking at the bar.

"Where?" Steven laughed

"We should go into town. Buy some weed from the guy with the rainbow dash tattoo" Jere spoke up after a couple of seconds of silence

"Nah he got arrested"

Steven gasped as if I light bulb just went off in his head "We could go to the drive in" he smiled devilishly, but Cameron quickly but a stop to that thought,

"No." she deadpanned 

Jeremiah shook his head agreeing with Cam "Yeah I don't really wanna see Belly making out with some guy."

"Nah" Conrad stood perking up "Let's go to the drive in".

It took some convincing but soon Jeremiah and Conrad stood up and began walking towards the door.Steven went to get up as well when Cameron spoke sternly "Steven sit your ass down"

The boy immediately sat back down on the couch and looked towards his two friends "Yeah I'm just gonna stay here and keep her company" he let out a forced laugh

Steven and Cameron ended up going home after the Fisher boys left. The two wound up on the couch watching Umbrella Academy. Steven laid on Cameron's chest as she played with the hairs on his head.

"That's so gross, isn't that like incest" Steven spoke making the girl underneath him laugh

"Yeah I'm pretty sure it is" .Cameron pulled her hand out of the boys hair making him freeze.

"What are you doing?"

"Getting my phone Steve" Cam responded. Her phone was quckily snatched out of her grip and her hand was placed back into his hair. Steven let out a sigh feeling her hand come in contact with him again.

"You're such a baby" she laughed at her boyfriend, but he just snuggled closer to her. Silence took over the couple as the t.v played in the background. Cameron felt at home when she had the boy in her arms, he brought a sense of comfort that only her parents could once fulfill

"Steve" she whispered breaking the silence

"Yeah babe"

"Promise me we will always be this close" Cameron said making Steven look up at her confused, "yeah of course, Cam.Where's this coming from"

Cameron pursed her lips together before forming her words "It's - it's just that we've always been best friends. You're like my other half and if something happens to us, I just wanna know that we'll still have that bond, even if we hate each other"

Steven sat up and pulled Cameron up to,so that they were both on the couch facing each other.He held her hands in his and made deep eye contact with her.

"Cameron Baby. Nothing in the world could make me hate you. I'll love you until the day I die, even if you think I don't.Nothing's gonna happen to us okay, we'll be just fine.We'll graduate high school and go to College. Get married and have a bunch of mini Steve's Cam's" he reassured the girl making her laugh

"I could never hate you either,I love you too much," Cameron replied, kissing the boy. The kiss was soft and gentle. It reminded her a lot of the first one they shared. Steven's lips still tasted of Cherry coke.

Steven pulled Cameron into his arms as he laid down on the couch and kissed her forehead. Cam nuzzled her head into his chest which set off a chain of butterflies to erupt in his stomach.

And that's how they fell asleep that night. Steven's arms wrapped around Cam's waist and the whispers of the T.V playing in the background. The two loved each other deeply and they knew nothing could pull them apart. Well at least that's what they thought....
