The next morning Cameron awoke to Steven's head laying on her chest and their legs intertwined.Cameron gently moved out of Stevens hold and made her way to the bathroom.After she took a shower and got dressed she checked her phone to see that it was only 4:50 AM.

If she knew it was this early in the morning she would've gone back to sleep. Cameron let out a huff and quietly made her way to the kitchen to see Laurel and Susannah whispering to each other.

Cameron smirked to herself before creeping up behind the two, "What are we talking about" she whispered. Susannah and Laurel slightly jumped in their seats while holding their chest.

"Cameron, what did I tell you about doing that" the raven haired women spoke trying to regain her breath

"Sorry" Cameron softly chuckled.She made her way to the fridge and took out a container of watermelon.

"So" laurel started "How are you and Steven?The last time we talked you two weren't in the best place"

Cameron took a bite out of her watermelon before sighing "We're...okay. I mean we talked last night and we're still together, i-i" Cameron paused for a second "it's just that I'm still hurt about what happened but I know we'll move past it."

The two mothers looked at Cameron with a smile on their faces.The little girl they once knew had grown up tremendously, all the kids had.

"Well sweetie, it's gonna take some time but the hurt will subside soon.Since the first time you two meet we knew that you guys were destined to be together" Susannah said

"She's right, that night you left Steven couldn't stop talking about you.It was cam this and cam that" laurel laughed "He used to beg the boys to spill little facts about you so that the next time you came over, he had something to talk to you about"

Susannah let out a laugh "Oh my god yes I remember that! The poor boy even started drinking orange juice because you liked it so much, and he hated oranges."

The smile on Cameron's face was gigantic, the news that the two moms we're sharing with her made her ecstatic.It was cute that Steven wanted to please her all the time.

"When you found out he hated oranges he was so relieved he could stop drinking orange juice" Laurel sighed as the laughter calmed down "God you two were made for each other"

"Yeah we'll when you guys are at our wedding i'll make a special toast for the two of you" Cameron smiled and walked out of the kitchen and into the living room.However she missed the look on Susannah's face when she said that, the look of guilt,sadness, and fear. Fear that she was probably not gonna make it in time to see Steven and Cameron get married.

When Cameron was far enough away Laurel turned to face Susannah "Are you sure we should let them do this?"

Susannah inhaled deeply and kept her eyes on Cameron's figure "yeah I just wanna see our girls in a white dress. Especially cam, her parent's death has been so hard on her and as much as she hides it I know it still hurts her."
