For at least a week, Clover had been having weird dreams, almost nightmares. They left her tired, on edge, and a little more then paranoid. When asked, all she would say was, the trees have eyes, before dozing off for a nap. Only the last night they were on Mobius was it a nightmare Shades couldn't stop, or even look into which concerned everyone. He was able to look into dreams, chase off nightmares and even give people a dreamless sleep. But no spell worked, so Clover took it as a sign that they needed to go to the island urgently. Her Luna and Scourge all packed as fast as they could, leaving Tigris to guard the house since there was no telling how the tribe would react to her. NS had conjured a spell that was fueled by his mothers magic so he would look like a normal mobian and have protection from the sun while they were there. After words they traveled there through a portal Shades opened, thankfully it had been outside the village, so they could walk in and give everyone less of a scare.
When the tribe had seen the group they acted hostile, hissing and glaring at them. Mothers and fathers ushered their children into their homes, the merchants closed shops, and the guards kept wary eyes on them, slowly following the group. A few however, started to recognize Clover, and cried out in alarm when she defended the group from things being thrown at them with her water abilities. Clover warned them not to speak, and let her do the talking, giving Luna a warning look. They were taken to the chief, who was now Virgo, his father now considered an elder so he stepped down to let the blue tiger take the leadership position. Virgo was not pleased to see them in the slightest, least of all Clover who barely showed emotion when they had arrived. She only claimed she was drawn back here because she had received visions something bad was about to happen to the island.
"You can't receive visions!" A woman called out from the elders who sat to the left of the chiefs seat.
"Yes, you are not a priestess! Your an ungodly little demon sent from hellious!"
Luna and Scourge were shocked at the jeers from the crowd, they knew Clover didn't come from a nice village, but to hear this coming from them aimed at her was alarming to say the least. She just stood there, biting back her responses as they hissed at her. Scourge stepped forward to snarl back, but she held him back with her tails and looked back up at Virgo, studying his face closely. She seemed to find something as she gave a knowing look, making him frown. She had learned to read faces a lot more then he thought she would.
"You fled years ago! We thought we were rid of you!"
"Return and take your heathens with you!"
"We are here only to assist in the danger that is falling to your village!"
"We have no danger but you!" Someone stood, about to attack her, but he was stopped by a small zap of electricity from Virgo's outstretched hand whos attack seemed to stun him.
"Enough!" At the sound of their chief the villagers went silent. "How you know this must be some blessing from Orion. Or chaos. But we do have an issue we don't understand." He stood and lead the four into a room behind the throne room where he sat on a desk covered with papers and took out a map. "Firstly, you will introduce us to your... friends. And tell them the rules of this place."
"This is Luna, my adopted sister, Shade, her mate. and Scourge, my mate." That made the chief snort, she ignored him, and continued. "They aren't tribesmen, and neither am I. I left before my ceremony so they don't need to follow the normal rules. While we're here we will stay in the ruins of my fathers house assuming you didn't tear it down."
"... We did not. Those are acceptable terms. But the problem is outside of the main village." He pointed to a spot on the map, the three could see from behind Clover the large map of an island that was mostly forests until there were large jutting mountains, then what appeared to be a desert on the other side. "Shortly after you disappeared we attempted to start another village fare east of us like the one we have on the southern shore. but we lost contact with them, and we haven't been able to go out and contact them because no one has the time to go look. The winters have been harsher, and we are just now getting back to a population where we can spare the men to go out. And we did. but they have not returned. That was four months ago when the summer first started. My... my father had been in the group that went to settle the village."
