Love never dies

Dimitris POV

What am I going to do? She wont wake up no matter what we do! Please dont take her away again!! Do you want help? a voice sounded through my office. Whos there? it was eerily quiet for a few seconds before a shadow appeared Infront of me. It had no distinct shape or features. I am no one, all you need to know is that I can help you if you so desire. It bowed down and the smoke surrounding it flooded down and fell to the floor slowly covering it. When it reached me, it was cold, like the touch of death. Why would I want your help? We can do this ourselves. I went back to the papers laying on the desk. This was just a figment of my imagination I can help with Katherine. I know what is needed to be done for her to regain consciousness. But it will come at a cost. The things voice was cold and send shivers down my spine. Before we even go further, tell me who the hell you are. I saw a grin appear on its face and the smoke started to dissipate. In its place stood a rather large young man. He had short red hear and his eyes where the color of lava, making him look even more dangerous. My name is Red. I am not of this world. To be honest I am not even alive, though I once was, I live in a world where the concept of time does not matter, the place where Katherine is now. She is wondering aimlessly around there, loosing her will to live and if you dont hurry then she might just die. He had a grin on his face, it was menacing and cold, but I know that what he was saying is true because Ive seen that place before.

What will you do to help me? I asked backing away from him. I will get you to see her and bring her back. The only way for her to come back is for her to want to live. The purpose for that place is to make you loose your will and send your soul back to the underworld. She didnt want to die at first but she is slipping further and further down. She doesnt have long left. He went and sat down on the sofa. What should I do? I know full well accepting his deal means I am going to loose something but if I can get her back then I dont care. But what will happen to her if I am not there to protect her? That pup, I know he will take care of her but I dont want her to be by his side

Fine, deal! But youre deal cant involve any loss of life. He let out a laugh, Dont worry, what I want isnt a life. What I want is much simpler he came up to me and shook my hand. The deal is done. Now I get my payment and you get your wish. He smiled again and suddenly everything went black

When I opened my eyes, I was in a black place, no light anywhere. Then I heard a voice. It was the voice of Katherine, but it sounder different, like it did when we first met. Ooo my goodness you are so dense!!! They dont even know half of the crap you did and you think that they have forgiven you? Hell no, what do you think will happen when they find out that you where the one who killed their warriors? What do you think they would say when they figure out you are the Duchess of death? When they find out you have killed countless of their kind? No, they wont forgive you. They will kill you, toss you aside and leave you to die, like an animal. Like the monster that you are. I think that that is what you deserve! I heard the voice say, then suddenly it was silent. A light started to shine and I saw her. Katherine was sitting, crying silently. Her body was shaking with every sob. Katherine my voice echoing inside this endless void. Go away. I dont need to hear anymore. I know I dont deserve any of this, but I still dont want to give up yet. I cant. I moved closer and took her in my arms and she kept on crying. What had happened to her in here? Why the hell is she like this? Why is she crying as if she has lost everything? But why, why cant I do anything? I started tearing up, feeling so powerless!!! Please just leave me alone now! I get it just just leave me alone Ill give up soon I just want some more time please she looked up at me, tears streaming down her face. Hell no! Katherine looks at me! I grabbed her face and made her look at me. Her eyes looked dead already as if she had already given up. Why are you giving up? I asked her. But all she did was keep crying. Katherine, please you cant give up yet! Everyone is waiting for you; they all want to see you. Its too soon for you to go! I pulled her closer and hugged her so tight. She kept shaking from the sobs she let out. It was killing me seeing her crying like this. No one is waiting for me. Why would they? All Ive ever done for them is kill their friends and lying to them. Her voice was so low I almost didnt hear what she was saying. Thats not true. I mean yes you did lei to them, but if you explain to them why you did and why you couldnt tell them sooner, they would understand. Hey, look at me I took her face in my face and made her look at me how can you leave me? I am your husband Afterall. How am I supposed to go on without you? You know me better than anyone else and know how hard it is for me to do things on my own. Please dont leave me. I havent had enough time with you yet

Katheryns POV

His eyes filled with tears. How could this man who is so strong shed a tear for me? He shouldnt. He is a king and shouldnt be doing this, and yet here he is, kneeling down to me, crying like a child. Please, I need you his low voice echoed in the endless darkness of this place. It was so sweet and bitter. I cant. I simply said and stood up. I knew that this was all to make me give up, I knew he wasnt really here, but in that moment all I really wanted was for him to be here with me and take me away from this hell. What do you mean you cant? he stood up and looked at me like a lost child. Because none of this is true. Youre not really here, how could you be. You wouldnt risk everything for me like this. You have your people to think of. I started to walk away. I heard his footsteps following behind me. Why would you think I wouldnt do this for you? I love you more than anything in this world. You are my world, if you arent in it than id rather die. Please! Just listen to me! he grabbed my hand and pulled me to him. No! just give up! I dont deserve to go back to that world! he was various, his whole body was shaking. You do! I love you! I dont care what happens please just come with me! No, that wont does he sighed and started to walk in the direction I was pulling me along. What are you doing? I asked but he just kept walking. The darkness started to turn grey as light pierced through. A light came into view. Dimitri walked straight to it. Nonono. stop please!!! I pulled back and my hand came loose. He turned to me and smiled. Dont worry we will be together no matter what. Whether you deserved to go on or keep fighting. I was stunned. I would never have thought that he would do something like this. Dimitri, go back please, dont do this the people need you. He shook his head. They need you to, you are their queen after all. So, I go where you go my queen. He pulled me into a hug, So its your choice. I dont care. Ill follow you through heaven or hell. He gave me a smile and stepped back. He was giving me a chance to make up my mind, to keep fighting or give up. But I had already decided to give up... didnt I? But I do want to go back but its so hard. You will be fine. I promise no one will hate you. So, take my hand and lets go. I took his hand; it was so warm and comforting. Do I deserve it? Well, I guess I would just have to work hard to be deserving of it.
