Chapter 8

Sisters?

The party was great. Me and Henry had a wonderful time, we talked and walked. When he finally realized my eyes were golden, he asked what was going on. Ru told him it was her. I don't really remember everything because well, Ru had shut me out. Once I woke the next morning I was in another bed. I was confused but then Henry came in and told me that he brought me to his bed to keep an eye on me because I was sick, and I didn't even drink. I had thrown up blood.

" Don't worry Henry. It's just that my vampire side can't really handle being too long in my wolf form." He smiled and placed a hand on my forehead, to feel my temperature.

I put on a jean and a loose grey shirt and threw my hair in a messy bun.

Breakfast was delicious as usual. Me and Lex had huge plans for the day because the boys had to go visit the Silver pack again. It's been like a week now since the party, me and Lex have become real good friends.

" Okay so Lex what we doing while the boys are away?" I asked while sitting lazily on the couch, my assignment completely out of mind.

" How about we go swimming?" She asked me. I nodded and we headed to our rooms to get on our bathing suits.

I had a black two piece that looked like a one piece. The sides and back was open and it had crisscrosses of material on the front. I put on my shirt again and then got some short pants. I ran back downstairs. Lex was waiting for me. A white long time of dress over her swimsuit.

We went to the backyard; the huge pool was in the middle of the lawn. We smiled at each other. I took of my shirt and pants, and took my hair out of the bun, ran and then jumped into the pool. The water was cold, like ice, but soothing in the heat.

Lex took of her dress and was wearing a white swimsuit, that was open at the back and sides, with a small piece making a pathway over her stomach. She, too, jumped into the water. When she came up again her eyes were bluer than ever.

" Your eyes Lex." I say swimming to the steps of the pool and sitting down.

" Oso. Yea it's because of my wolf. When I died my parents put me in water and the moon resurrected me. So, whenever I'm in water my eyes glow a bit. " She said. Then she went under water and swan to the end of the pool. Once she came up, she berend me to join her so I did.

We swam for about an hour before we saw the boys coming through the back door. Both were wearing blue shorts, carrying towels.

" Hey boys." Lex said. Scott smiled at her.

" They are cute!" Gem said.

" Hey Lex, Kathy. Enjoying the swim?" Henry asked. I nodded.

Then both took of their shirts and dived into the pool

" Wow, this is cold." Scott said coming up next to Lex.

Suddenly I was lifted out of the water and thrown to the middle of the pool. When I came up, Henry was laughing.

" You're so light!" He said between laughs. I just gave him a glare. I decided that I was done, so I climbed out. Once I was out, I took one of the towels the boys brought out and sat down on one of the lazy chairs that stood next to the pool.

" So, Kathy what did you and Lex do while we were gone?" Scott asked.

" Well, she actually told me stories about you two. " I say pointing at them.

" Lex..." Henry said.

" What Henny. She is your mate after all." She said sweetly and also climbed out the pool and sat down on a chair next to me.
