I was running and I couldn't stop. If I did I would be dead right now. I wanted to go back for him but he made me promise not to. I really didn't want to leave him and I hope he's okay. "La'Rayna whatever you do don't stop running." "What about you." "Don't worry about me just keep running?" But S..." "Just keep running I'll be okay promise me you will keep running." "I promise." That was the last thing that he said to me. "Uhhh." I heard screaming I hope that wasn't him. I dived right behind a bush when I heard someone rustling in the woods. I peeked out to see if anyone was there but not too much because I didn't want him or her to see me. I wasn't stupid and I wasn't going to call out and ask who was there. I started to shake and I didn't know if it was because it was freezing cold out or if it was because how scared I am. I wonder if everyone at camp is okay. Well for the people that are still alive. I tried to shake the image of my best friend being murder. But I couldn't it was still playing in my head over and over reminding me that I could be next. It was my fault that she's dead now. She was trying to save me.

When we were running from the camp I feel in a hole in the wood of our cabin and my foot got caught. We heard someone screaming at first but we thought it was just because of the ghost stories. People are always getting scared of the stories because some of them are to be true. But that scream was different it was as if someone was dying. Little did we know it was? We looked out the window and seem something coming out the cabin across from ours and something spotted us. We started to run toward the back of the cabin and sneak out the back way. "Danielle help me my foot stuck." She rushed back over to pull my foot out. Then the door slammed open and there it was standing there. "Come on La'Rayna pull harder." "I'm trying." I finally got my foot unstuck and we headed towards the back door but it wouldn't open. "La'Rayna climbed through the whole." "But D..." I didn't want to leave her and she knew it but it was the only way. "Just do it you're the smallest you will fit and then I'll go it will be faster that way." I did as she said and reached my hand in to help her out. As she grabbed on to my hand that's when it grabbed onto her. "Uhhh let me go." "Danielle I got you don't let go," I said pulling her harder. "Please let go." She looked at me with pleading eyes and that's when I knew she wasn't talking about it and begging him to let her go she was talking to me. I shook my head at her. "No Danielle I got you I will not let you go." I knew I wasn't strong enough but I just couldn't leave her there she didn't leave me. She looked at me one last time his grip was too strong and I lost hold of her. "Uhhhh." "DANIELLE NOOOOO!" I shouted.

How could I let her go? I lie there and watch as he smiled at her then me like this was some kind of game that he was getting ready to play and enjoy because he won. She screamed trying to kick it off her. "Danielle I'm coming" I said while I tried to wiggle my way back in. "No run don't worry about me." She continues to kick until it stabbed her in her stomach. He did it over and over again while she screamed at the top of her lungs and all I could do is sit there and watch. There was so much blood everywhere. I was helpless she was helpless and I couldn't even help her. I was in shock I couldn't move. "Ahhhhh no Danielle...Don't let go...I won't let go...I woke up screaming with Shawn trying to soothe me brushing my hair out of my face. It was only a dream. "It's okay La'Rayna it was only a dream...shhh it's going to be okay." He said to me. But the sad part about it all was it wasn't just a dream it was a memory that I could never forget. "I'm sorry Danielle." Just the way I said while I hid in the bush over and over as he rocked me back to sleep. "I'm sorry Danielle." "I'm sorry Danielle." "I'm sorry Danielle." "I'm sorry Danielle."
