Shawn, Kirk, and Danielle were going through all the letter. Once we realized that the camp wasn't sending home all of our letters. This whole situation was just strange. The only communication that we thought we were having with the outside world was proven to be false. So, they decided to go back to cabin six to see if they could find anything else. Who knows what they are hiding in that cabin. I didn't want to step foot inside cabin six let alone be by it. They agreed to let me stay behind. I'm still in Shawn and Kirks cabin reading the book that I found in the closet. The book was actually Jake journal.
"Did you guys hear what happened? "What." "Cash from cabin two went missing last night. They claim that he was sent home early because of bad behavior. But the funny thing is his sister is still here and she didn't even know." "That is strange. Why would they let his sister know that he was leaving? Wouldn't he wanted to say goodbye or at least their parents." "Are you sure someone went missing Kirk or are you just messing with us?" "I'm not lying. I'm telling the truth right, Shawn?" "Well." "See you're playing us Kirk and I don't like to be played." "I didn't say that Dani. Let me finish. I'm just not positive that Cash really went missing or not. The counselors did say that he was sent home for bad behavior. And we all know Cash was known for pulling stunts. The thing is Everyone in cabin two said that he went missing because they all went to sleep and the next day he was gone."
"I can't believe this." "What?" "These are the letters that we have been writing home. I wrote this letter a month ago." Danielle said. "You have to be kidding me?" "No, I'm not. I remember this one too. I was telling my parents that I have learned my lesson and I want to come home. Oh, and this one I was telling my parents that I was about to kill Melissa and Kirk." "Hey," Kirk said unamused. "What you get on my nerves." Danielle shrugged her shoulders. "So, this is what you really thought La'Rayna." I looked up and saw that Shawn was reading I guessed what is one of my letters. "I can't be mad, though. You were right." "It's not like I wanted to be right." "Yeah, but you didn't make anything happen either."
"The thing that I am having trouble with is why you keep coming back to this camp Kirk?" "It's not like I knew this was going on." "How can we be so sure. We just met you." "Come on how would I know." "So, you just write letters home year after year and never thought to ask your parents if they received any." "I never write home. My parents don't care about me. They send me to camp to get rid of me." "Not surprised by that," Danielle whispered. I nudged her arm and she mouthed to me what.
It was kind of sad that Kirks parents didn't even care enough about it. It kind of explains why he acts the way he does. He just wants attention because he's not receiving it at home. "Kirk their has to be something else you are not telling us." "Like what?" "I don't know. You are the one that's been coming here every year. You have to remember something. You have to have seen something strange going on." "I told you everything I knew last night."
Hey, whats this?" "A letter duh." Kirk shut up. It looks really old. Like the paper is this brownish yellow color." "Well, what its say?" "Hi, mom today at camp we had a sock hop dance with the boys camp." "Whats a sock hop dance?" "Beats me." "Yeah, this letter is old." Daniele picked up another letter. "Hey look this is from the same girl. It says Mom I really would like to come home. Some strange things have been going on at camp. Everything happened right after the sock hop dance." "What strange things," Kirk said. "Let me finish doofus. Apparently, a kid went missing during the dance. She goes on to say that the camp told everyone that she got sick so they sent her home." "Sounds familiar don't you think?"
"Come on." "Where are we going?" " Have an idea." "Whatever it is I want out of it." "La'Rayna you are the one that wanted answers." "I do but. Just go ahead without me. I want to take a look at this book." "Fine with me. The fewer people the better. Come on Kirk." "What about me?" "Just stay here for now. This shouldn't take long."
Shawn and Kirk took off to wherever his plan must be. I really wanted to see what this book is about. "So whats up with the book?" "I don't know I haven't looked at it yet." "Do you think it might have some type of clue to whats going on?" "How am I supposed to know?" "Just making conversation." "Okay, Danielle," I said laughing at her. She went back over and started to read through more letters. "Do you think Melissa and Suis know anything." "I don't know maybe." "Well, Melissa ost defneity knows something. I can feel it.Something isn't right with that girl. And the way the other counselors treat her. Ugh, I can't stand her." "Don't we all."
I was flipping through the pages of the book. Nothing out of the ordinary seems to be in here. It looks like some type of journal. Shawn and Kirk came running back into the cabin. "Did you guys find what you need?" "No the place was locked up. But Kirk found a way that we can get in." "Really?" "Yeah until then we need to go back to cabin six. I feel like there is something there we haven't found yet." "Okay, lets go." "No way I'm not going back there." "Come on La'Rayna what happened to the balls you grew yesterday." "How about you come here Kirk and find out." "No, I'm fine right here." "La'Rayna." "No, I'm not going. Besides I want to know what this journal says." "Journal?" "Yes, this book happens to be Jake's journal."
