6. My name is James

"Hi" I reply calmly.

"Look, I'm sorry for the way I treated you today. I didn't mean it." He apologizes

"How did you get my number?" I change the subject abruptly.

"You know, just because I look like a nerd, doesn't mean I don't know how to use the internet."

"Sorry, I didn't mean it like-" I get cut off.

"It doesn't matter, anyway, I just wanted to apologize, I was just really pissed off." He says. "By the way, my name is James." He introduces himself.

"Nice name" I say awkwardly not really knowing what to say. "My name is Ale-" I get cut of again.

"Alexis, yeah I know. I'm in your math and English lit class." He says a bit stalker-ish

"Well I guess I will see you in math and English lit then. By the way, I'll talk to Nick, you deserve an apology." I say sincerely.

"Thanks. Well my mom is calling me for dinner so I guess I will see you soon then." He salutes.

All I think about is how I'm going to talk to Nick.

Should I call him?

Or should I wait till tomorrow?

I decide to wait since it will give me more time to think about what I should say in order to not make him think I am taking sides.

As I arrive to school before 9:00am, I head to my locker to get my things to go to English lit.

As I walk to my designated class, I spot Nick in the corner talking to a bunch of guys on his track team.

I decide to walk up to him.

"Hey Nick." I start the conversation.

"Hey Alex, guys can you leave for moment, looks like the lady wants to talk." He asks for privacy, recognizing the serious look I have on my face. The boys leave in seconds.

"So what's up?" He asks casually, putting his hands in his pockets.

"You know yesterday" I go straight to the chase. "The way you treated that boy was awful Nick." I say looking into his deep memorizing blue eyes that I fell in love with.

"That's what's bothering you?" He asks in awe. "Okay then, if it makes you happy, I'll apologize." He says giving me a peck on the cheek.

"Thank you. I love you!" I promise as I head to English lit, just before the bell rings...

Omg guys, I'm literally so sorry for the suckiest chapter ever! I'm trying to upload every day but it's very hard. The first like 4 chapters I wrote before I published but I'm just writing as I go.
For your information: I KNOW HOW I WANT TO END THIS BOOK. It will be very surprising. It's just very hard actually getting to where I want it to be but still staying true to my first plan and of course the book.
Okay I might have a lot of caps in the next paragraph of my long authors note:
THANK YOU FOR 100+ READS ON THIS BOOK. I know that 100+reads is nothing but it really means a lot to me because I know people are actually reading it and I'm not wasting my precious thumbs
