Chapter 20 : Back home again
I woke up today and it hit me like a ton of bricks that we were going home. I got changed with a heavy heart and packed up the remainder of my things including my now mini guitar. I take my trunk down the stairs ready for the summer holiday. I was wearing this and dragging my full trunk behind me. I took it down to the Entrance hall and sat on it waited for my friends to come down. They were down about half an hour after me and we walked to the carriages together so that we could be taken to Hogsmeade station. I confessed to them about being Demi Potter and we all laughed about how Dumbledore added on the points I had lost as her. We arrived at Hogsmeade station not long after and dragged our trunks onto the scarlet train waiting to take us home. we find an empty compartment and talk about the year we left behind.
"listen Olivia, I am really sorry about the pain I caused you this year." says Cedric
"You obviously liked Cho so I wasn't bothered. I can't get in the way of true love, I just want a normal year next year, I'm glad we are just friends because you're just like an older brother to me and whilst we're being honest I'm gonna say that kissing you was a weird experience for me."
"In what way?"
"In a your my brother not my lover kind of way."
"Oh, Okay!" he said and we continued talking all through the train ride home to Kings Cross Station, laughing at our new relationship status. We arrived at Kings Cross and Picked our things off the top rack and walked to meet our parents, I gave a very subtle wave to Adam who saw and nodded back. I say good bye to Cedric and his parents and go through the barrier to meet my own parents, well Adoptive parents.
"Olivia! over here!" shouted Katie
"Hey, Katie. I just left you what's up?" I say
"Mom, Dad meet Olivia my new best friend."
"It is so nice to finally meet you. We have heard so much about you in letters of course." said her mom.
"It's a pleasure to meet you but I really must get going, My adoptive parents are waiting for me." I say and they let me go.
I leave the station with Sam and my 'mom' thinking "Will I ever have a normal year at Hogwarts?" the truth in that I will never know
