Steddie oneshots <3

Mixtapes

Just a reminder that most of these are set in our year. Like 2010-2022.

3rd person pov:

Eddie and Steve have been hanging out in eddies trailer a lot recently. They would just play some music and smoke weed and talk about everything. Even if they didn't have it in common,anything Steve said was interesting to Eddie and anything Eddie said was interesting to Steve. One thing Eddie has been going on about is his favourite band,he talks about them none stop and to be honest Steve wasn't really into eddies type of music,so he had no idea what he was talking about but he still listened.

"Hey Eddie" Steve says sitting up from eddies chest
"Hm?"
"I should go,I'll see you tomorrow okay?"
"Of course Harrington,you just can't stay away from me" he laughs,kissing his boyfriends cheek. Steve stood up and waved him goodbye as he left. Eddie always looked out the window when Steve left until he was out of sight and after a few minutes he would text him to make sure he got home okay. After what they had been through he didn't need a stupid monster killing his boyfriend.

Steve pov:

After I arrived home I went straight up into my bedroom and started listening to the band Eddie was talking about. It wasn't my taste but if Eddie loves them that much I might as well get to know the band so we can talk about them together. I played their music for so long I eventually fell asleep. The next day I woke up to a call which was strange since I didn't really use my phone that much nor have many peoples numbers.
I picked it up and answered
"Hey" I say
"Hey?! That's all you say? I thought you died or something"
I sigh and put my hand over my face
"Shit Eddie,I'm sorry. I fell asleep, I forgot to answer the text"
"you just scared me Harrington. I don't wanna find you with your eyes sucked into your head"
Sometimes I forget that he watched What happened to Chrissy and Patrick. Now I really felt bad
"I know,but I'm okay. I'll come over now"
"Alright,see you soon princess" I could hear his smile through the phone as he said that. The stupid nickname always a gets to me.

I get ready and head over to his trailer. I had brought a mix tape with me of the songs I enjoyed from last night or anything of his taste really. I knock and the door that was quickly swung open by Eddie with a smile on his face.

"After you,king Steve" he says bowing slightly and gesturing his hand inside
"Drama queen" I laugh walking inside his trailer. I turn around after hearing the metal door close only to be kissed by Eddie.
"What was that for Munson?"
I ask pulling away
"Considering I thought last night was your last I think I deserve a kiss"
"Yeah,I'm sorry about that. Forgot how overprotective you are" I smile
"I am not" he says furrowing his eyebrows
"You are" I give him the mix tape I listened to last night
"I listened to that band you were telling me about" I say
"You did?" He asks as I feel his hands wrap around my waist
"Well,I thought if I got to know them we could talk together. And make more mixtapes,
because we obviously don't have enough" I say sarcastically making him smile even more
"Why thank you for being so thoughtful Harrington" he says.
"You are very welcome Munson" I say
