"His name was Remus Lupin. It sounded very familiar.........do we know him?" Severus didn't move, his grip grew tighter around me. "Sev?" I called out to him again. He still didn't answer. I turned around and faced him now. He was frowning and his face was pale.
"Severus....." I whispered, cupping his face in my hands. "What happened? Do you know this man? His name sounded vaguely familiar to me." I concentrated on his face. I don't understand why it made him so upset. Tears welled up in his eyes.
"Hey....." I sat on my knees in front of him, bringing his face closer to mine. "Baby what happened? Talk to me.......please," I begged him as I leaned onto his face, peppering him with kisses.
"He was one of them.......the Marauders," realization dawned upon me, the fourth boy in the group, that memory where he called Lily a.........where he insulted her....there was another boy apart from James, Sirius and Pettigrew. He was that one. He is the werewolf. No wonder the man looked so worn out and tired. My eyes grew wider in bewilderment, as realisation struck me again, that I was so close to a werewolf. On top of that, he was the one to torment Severus as a kid. Innocent bystander!
But he saved me too. He didn't have to, yet he did. He could have been in a heap of trouble himself, he knew it was Ministry work, yet he agreed to keep it a secret. He could have given us away. He doesn't owe the ministry anything. He never bullied Severus directly, but mum said that the bystanders are as equally guilty as the ones doing the crime.
"I am sorry Severus. I almost forgot about him. I wouldn't have accepted his help if I knew......."
"No. He saved you. As much as I hate him, his saving you makes us even now. I cannot imagine if something happened to you. What would I do without you Rosa?" He embraced me into a bone crushing hug. I rested my head against his bare chest, listening to his galloping heartbeats.
"Oh Sev.......you don't have to. I will be more careful about it. I promise. You don't have to be without me." I could feel his hot tears dropping on my forehead. I looked at him and kissed the tears away and enveloped his lips into a deep passionate kiss, savouring the every last bit of him, our tongues dancing in their rhythm and slowly guided him down to make him lay on his back as I hovered on his figure, pulling the blanket over our heads to cover our bare bodies and hide from the world.

Everyone erupted into jeering laughter as Arthur cracked a joke about the wizard selling farting pillows to Muggles. Harrison spilled the wine back to his glass and some on his suit. Amanda gave him a nudge on his arm. I won't blame her, he was having his fourth glass of wine and he was looking slightly befuddled. Sean was almost choking on his food; I passed the water jug to him.
"Control yourself........mate," I said, half amused at how loud he can be.
"It's okay. They are all having fun." Severus whispered into my ear from the side.
This Christmas was an absolute blast. We had the Weasleys, Severus, Sean, Haoran, Amy, and Sharon's parents. The kids were sent to the other room while the adults were at the table now, except Haoran, who was yet to be seventeen. Arthur Weasely was amused with a Muggle house. Rue took the liberty to explain every question he had about everything in house, but the most amusing object to him was the cellular phone that mum had for work. He couldn't just wrap his head around as to how Muggles developed a way to communicate across cities without using magic. It was cute; it's like watching a little kid see a world for first time. I secretly felt like Rue was developing a crush on him.
