Chapter 13: Fight

It felt like time had frozen. I could barely know what to do or say. I quickly got a bunch of napkins and gave them to Reese. 

"What the fuck is wrong with you?!" I scolded at Robbie pushing him away from Reese.

"You're too good to answer me?! I've been wanting to get back with you ever since that night and you haven't contacted me or anything to even tell me that it was over! And then I see you on a date with this guy?! What the fuck is so good about him?! What makes him so special?!" 

"Shut the fuck up you delusional asshole!!! There was nothing there to begin with! That night was a mistake!!!! And nothing more than that. I would never get back with you! You're a liar and a cheater and I doubt you've changed much! You don't even know him! Why are you taking this out on him?! If you have a problem then take it up with me!" I heard myself screaming at my ex. 

"I know who he is! He's Vincent...ergh...Reese Walker!!! I went to grammar school with Reese here! I know him better than you do! I don't know what it is that you and most girls see in him, but he's nothing special. He's a manipulator and he plays it off as being misunderstood and mysterious, but I can assure you he takes advantage and I hate seeing you trapped in the same pattern as all those other girls in the past!"

"I don't need you looking out for me! I know Reese isn't that type of person! And besides don't you think it's a bit hypocritical of you to be talking about manipulation when you cheated on me when you were with me?!"

"Fuck you!!!! You are such an-" 

BAM! 

I gasped loudly as I watched Reese punch him square in the face and watched Robbie fall to the floor. I looked up quickly to see Reese standing over his body just staring at him. I wanted to hug him and embrace him for being my hero.

"Reese! Are you ok?" I say as I take a napkin and gently rub it on his cheek to get a bit of milkshake off him that he missed. He gently nods as he looks in my eyes.

"What the fuck dude?!" Robbie shouts out. 

"What the fuck did you expect you little bitch?! You think you can just come in here and act like a little fucking kid just because you don't have what you want?! I hate people like you! You're such a little brat!" Reese yells at him. 

I see Reese reach for a ketchup bottle and he opens it and pours it all over Robbie. I couldn't help but chuckle to myself watching this asshole get what he deserved. For the longest time I resented Robbie for what he had done to me, but I always found myself being able to forgive him time and time again. This time I saw him for what he truly was. He didn't deserve me as a boyfriend, he never did.

I saw Robbie get up and grab me by the arm and pull me from the restaurant. He drags me out to the parking lot and pins me against the back concrete walls. 

"Don't you fucking see that guy is bad news?! He's so childish. Look what he did to me! I know you were concerned for me when he punched me I saw it all over your face" he places his lips on mine.
