"REGULUS ARCTURUS BLACK"

On Saturday, I had an odd dream.

It was, in many ways, quite bizarre.

There was a cave, darkness, water. At one point, I was in a boat, then on a strange island.

And then I drowned.

I can't remember much of it. I've learned to block out these dreams. I've always had them, ever since I was little.

Sirius would often wake me out of them and then stay with me until I fell back asleep.

I've had to learn how to handle them on my own once he left.

Even with all the years I've spent waking up from the terrors that haunt my sleep, none have ever been like the one I've experienced last night.

It was so bad that Evan had to wake me and he's a heavy sleeper.

Regardless, it's been on my mind all morning.

Mainly because it felt so...real? And also somehow...familiar.

It's as if I've not only been there before but I could feel my surroundings, smell the dampness of the cave and hear the water as the boat swam across the lake.

I can't stop thinking about it.

I keep replaying all that I can remember over and over and over and over an-

"Regulus! Earth to Regulus!" Carina whisper yelled, waving a hand in front of my face.

"What?" I asked, suddenly confused.

Oh, right.

I met up with Carina at the library after breakfast.

"What is up with you this morning?" she asked, sounding slightly concerned.

"Sorry. I'm just a bit distracted." I replied, staring back at her.

She narrowed her eyes at me, seeming like she was hesitant to speak.

"Distracted with what?" she finally asked after a moment.

I looked at her, trying to decide whether to share or not. A few seconds passed as she waited.

I decided against it. It was only a dream, after all.

"Evan woke me up in the middle of the night. Guess I'm a bit tired." I said, not really lying to her.

Just not telling her exactly why I had to be woken up. Besides, it's rather embarrassing.

She studied me, very obviously not believing my answer, but decided against prying further.
