"CARINA ELAYNE TOUSSAINT"

Saturday, September 24th - 2 nights until full moon

It has begun.

Lily and James have been spending more and more time together.

Lily has been talking my ear off all week. All I ever hear from her now is James this and James that. So much so, that she even forgot about me and Regulus.

She is going to drive me to insanity.

What's worse is it's Moon Week. For both me and Remus.

"Why are you carrying this much chocolate in your bag?" Evan asked suddenly.

We were spending our weekend at the library, working on a Herbology assignment along with Regulus and Evan.

I must've zoned out because looking up now, I saw Evan rummaging through my bag for some reason.

Grabbing my bag back from him, I slid it over the table to my side. "What the bloody hell Evan? Why are you going through my stuff?" I questioned him.

He put his hands up in defense, "hey, I only asked for an extra quill because mine had just broke. Mari left and she's only got one. Regulus never lets me borrow his stuff so, you were my last resort." he explained.

"So, you just decided to go through my things without asking me?" I queried, my agitation growing.

"I told you he's a menace." Regulus whispered to me.

"I am not a menace." Evan butt in, having heard Regulus's comment. To be fair, we were in a near silent library so even the faintest whisper carries. "And I did ask, you ignored me." he said, crossing his arms over his chest.

"I didn't do it on purpose Evan. Regulus, give him a quill." I ordered.

"No." he replied, not looking up from his textbook.

"He's your friend." I emphasized, leaning back against the chair with my arms crossed like Evan's.

"And he's your best friend's boyfriend." he retorted, finally looking at me, a mocking smile on his face.

I narrowed my eyes at him. "That's not my problem now, is it?" I asked.

"Isn't it? He's as much your problem now as he is mine." Regulus replied, raising his eyebrows in question.

"I can easily have Mari break it off with him, you on the other hand, share a room together." I argued.

"You two are making it sound as if we're in some weird affair, the four of us." Evan commented, being completely ignored.
