I whirled around when I heard the sound of an explosion so I paused my attack on Thanos forces momentarily. At the cliff side was a large explosion. One that can only possibly come from the mind stone.
She did it. Wanda did it. And that means Vision is dead. But now, for some reason the explosion seemed to be reversing. I set my sights on the Cliffside and activated my xray Vision. These past 5 months I've been practicing.
I see the bodies of my friends on the ground, alive, and Thanos.
I watched as he brought his gauntleted hand up, he moved the Mind Stone over the last empty setting, and dropped it in. My eyes go wide. No.
The energy surge is much more than any previous times I’ve ever seen him do it -- his torso is wreathed with iridescent static and he bellows from the sensations.
"Thor!" I shout for my brother who was busy destroying another of the outriders' transports. He stopped and turned to me. "He's got all the stones! We've got to go now!"
Thor was stuck with momentary panic and then anger. He grips his ax and we both fly over.
As Thanos studies the completed gauntlet, Thor and I aim a massive bolt of lighting and solar energy that strikes him, digging him into the ground and grinding him back for meters.
Our eyes glowing with power and anger as we approached. Thor reverses his position, raises Stormbreaker above his head and hurls it -- Thanos fires the whole might of the gauntlet against it, but it only creates a rainbow-like bow-shock not slowing the ax as it slams right into Thanos' chest.
At the same time, I summon a large beam from the sun to slam down on him.
Thor and I landed in front of Thanos who was down on one knee. He was burned all over, I'm surprised he survived my attack, probably the stones, but it doesn't matter. He'll be dead soon enough.
“I told you. You'd die for that!” Thor yelled at him, referring to the deaths of Loki and Heimdall. I looked around the Cliffside, spotting Vision's dead body.
I covered my mouth to stop the loud gasp that escaped. The rest of my friends and my husband were either trapped, knocked unconscious, or just starting to wake up.
He did this. He's the cause of all this pain and suffering. I stormed up behind Thanos and pulled his head back angrily as Thor forced his axe deeper into his chest, staring angrily into his eyes while Thanos cried out in pain.
I can see his face well enough from how I'm forcing him down, but I would like for me to be the last thing he sees as well. He's the last thing my brother saw. It's only right.
“You should have... you…” Thanos said weakly, before speaking stronger. “You should have gone for the head!”
He raises his gauntlet and snaps his fingers before either of us can do anything. Thor and I yelled.“NO!”
A huge white light eradicated and expanded like a wave and engulfed the planet.
THIRD PERSON POV
Aurora stared at the damage inflicted on the gauntlet -- the metal scorched and distorted from heat, the stones no longer glowing.
“What'd you do?” She breathed out in shock as she released him and took a step back. No, no, no, no.
“WHAT DID YOU DO?!” Thor boomed angry, he was as distraught as his sister was but he chose to focus on his anger for the moment.
Thanos seemed to be in a world of his own, lost in thought before he uses the Space Stone and teleports away, leaving the axe behind on Wakandan ground. When Thanos left most of the team that was trapped were released.
