chapter one

Before Zuzi turned ten years old, she had never thought of flying a plane. Her only interest before that was becoming something that got her the money, but as soon as she heard about being a flyer she couldn't think about anything else.

Now when Zuzi was 3, she moved from Japan to the United states with her mother. She had never had any contact with her father, as he probably didn't know she existed.

He had been sleeping around and ended up getting her mom pregnant. She only knew that they had met at a bar.

But still her mother never wanted to speak a single word about him, so she knew nothing.

When her mother died of cancer she thought the possibility of ever meeting her father was gone, but little did she know.

Zuzi kept fighting to be in the navy but it was harder when being a woman and being Japanese. Because unfortunately there is still a lot of sexist and racist people out there.

She would often be treated differently than her male friends and coworkers, but even if it bothered her she had to ignore it.

When Zuzi found out she was recruited to topgun she was jumping in joy. Her dream since being ten had finally come true.

Zuzi knew that her mother would be proud of her.

When she was at topgun she found friends and she found family that she knew would last for life.

When they graduated from topgun, Zuzi was already known for her fast speed, being sneaky and her will to not give up. Some people would call her the panther of the sky.

That's why she got the call name,
